In summary

Hawks Landing Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, friendly and accommodating staff, and enjoyable layout that offers a mix of challenging and straightforward holes. Many visitors appreciate the lush fairways and fast greens, as well as the overall positive atmosphere. However, some criticisms include the high cost relative to course conditions, occasional slow pace of play, and additional charges for amenities like range balls.

Great course and great vibes. Pro shop staff was very welcoming and the Starter “Fran” was fun to talk with! The course was fun and challenging. Hole 11 will take your soul lol. My only complaint was the tee boxes weren’t the greatest and tee markers are hard to see. Highly recommend and price was fair! Got paired up with a very nice couple Ken and Joan from New York.

Very challenging course, tons of water, you have to be strategic off the tee on the par 5s, and while not a long course - truly enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and helpful upon arrival and even assisted in getting clubs into the Uber.

Played in late February, we called that we were running a few minutes late because of an accident they were able to push a group out in front of us which worked out great. The starter Dave was absolutely the best! Course was in top tier condition and greens were rolling super quick. Some great holes and you use all the clubs in your bag.

Excellent executive track. You must be able to move the ball and the greens require your attention. Very nice layout for a resort course.

Got to try out Hawks Landing Golf course during a charity tournament. The carts were clean and ready, the crew was attentive and respectful, overall it was a fantastic experience.

Absolutely a beautiful course, friendly and professional staff. Even accommodated me to start an hour earlier than my tee time (I knew bad weather was coming). Not an easy course, but not hard either. Ball placement is very key, long drivers, especially erratic drivers, probably should play different clubs bc you can definitely put yourself in trouble. Definitely worth the cost and not overly priced like many other courses. Lots of water.

Hawk’s Landing is in great physical condition, but that’s about the only compliment I can give it. The course has no soul and very little creativity in its design — just the tired “add water everywhere” formula that perfectly sums up what’s wrong with so much resort golf. It feels manufactured instead of memorable. Pace of play was absolutely brutal. To make matters worse, one of the par 4s from the green tees measured just 220 yards. Yes, really. When your group is joking about whether holing out would even count as an albatross — and the answer is “no” because the hole is basically a gimmic…

The course is charging a lot of money ~$175+, to then nickle and dime the customers. The fact that the range balls aren't included, and once purchased they then tell you it's irons only and on the mats. Also, it was cart path's only for this high price, with no option to allow the guests to walk as an alternative, nor offer a discount for this. I get the course needs maintenance in overseeding, but the course needs to allow cheaper rates, allow folks to walk as an alternative, and include range balls if this is truely a top of the line course. The pro shop opening up <30 minutes before the fir…

An incredibly maintained and manicured resort course that offers a great value. Several island greens make up for an otherwise straightforward course. Would definitely recommend playing if you’re in the area.

I played 4/24/26 and they were 40 minutes behind on there tee times. The staff are nice but the course is in terrible condition! They have the absolute worst tee boxes, the fairways are sparse with a ton of dirt and burnt out areas on the entire course, and the greens need to be rolled as they are bumpy. They should be charging $50 bucks, NOT $240! A waste of your money! I have no idea what they do with all the money they rake in at $240 a person but it surely isn’t going back into the course! Never again!

An absolutely stunning course. Weather was pretty cold but the course was in amazing shape. The pictures do not do justice to this place. Staff was amazing and some very nice gear in the pro shops. Number 18 has a beautiful island green seen in pictures. Morning shot before we went out 7am tee time and afternoon shot when we got to 18!

This was a fun course with lots of water in play. The conditions were very good, albeit there are some cons listed below. Pros: cart guy to unload and show you where to park, pace was good, clubhouse was fully stocked. Cons: woefully sluggish greens, quite a bit of dead or struggling/bare spots in rough. This course is not spread out so you can see multiple holes from most spots on the course.
