What People Say

In summary

Polo Park Golf Course is frequently praised for its affordability, friendly staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a popular choice for beginners and seniors looking for a relaxed round. The course offers a challenging layout with several holes playing over water, contributing to its appeal as a fun, short game practice venue. However, some visitors have noted issues with the condition of the greens and occasional slow pace of play, which can affect the overall experience.

Outstanding little executive golf course. Never crowded and a challenging layout. Pro shop and grounds-keeping staff are courteous and professional.

The staff was lovely.Reasonably priced. The greens were horrible. When we made the turn to play the nine again, there was a group of six in front of us. They did nothing about six people playing. We went in the clubhouse and requested a refund for the second nine holes and were denied.

Very nice place my family has lived there for a very long time. Very clean pools are great 1 heated. The golf course is well kept & nice when it's not so hot out. ☺️

Nice little inexpensive 9 hole course. Super friendly clubhouse. Legit par threes from the blues. Really fun. Super slow greens. Really fun. Well maintained by the community.

Without a doubt the worst course I've ever played. My one main requirement for a course is that grass is present on the fairways and greens. The bar is not high for my approval. 90% of the greens were not playable and had little grass growing between the bald and sand spots.

It’s a quaint retiree course. That’s what you have to remember. It’s 9 holes (8 par 3’s and 1 “par 4”, that honestly be cut short and made a 3). The conditions are not good, but they are playable. The greens are beat up and inconsistent in speed (usually slow), but puttable. The traps? Well… enough said. I was able to play in about 3/4 hour. There are 3 holes that play over water. The #3 is the quirkiest of the holes. It’s 200+ with a tree in the middle of the tight fairway (pictured). The ponds definitely have active alligators (as pictured). I took a non-penalty drop on #8 because of it. Yes…

On vacation and wanted to do some golfing without taking a loan out. This place did just fine. Sure, it isn't going to be on the PGA tour list, but price wise it is a good deal.

Amazing place must be accurate off the tee the greens are not the beat hearing that they are being worked on

Nice little 9 home executive. Greens were impressively well kept. Price is very reasonable. Hospitable folks. Rental clubs could use an upgrade, I had a mix bag that felt like garage sale clubs. Also, I would recommend not booking during the weekly scramble. It is listed on the website, so that was my choice to go at that time. However, I did end up waiting for groups ahead of us. Overall, would definitely recommend this course.
