In summary

Copper Creek Golf Club is often praised for its stunning views, challenging layout, and friendly staff, making it a popular choice for golfers seeking a unique mountain course experience. However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the course's condition, particularly the greens, and find the pricing to be high relative to the amenities offered. Additionally, the temporary 14-hole setup due to construction and occasional issues with customer service have been noted as areas for improvement.

What a great experience. Don’t let the (currently) 14 hole course stop you from golfing here. I’m glad I gave it a chance, and I encourage others to do the same. First, the staff was friendly and accommodating, but then who isn’t in Colorado? The starter gave me insider advice, as I had never played the course. Practice facilities consist of a netted area for irons and woods/hybrids. It’s not really set up for drivers, though. There’s a putting and chipping green, but as the starter warned me, it is not representative of the course greens, which are in better shape, and much faster. If you’…

Wow! We had such a great time playing here. The course was well cared for and the greens were immaculate. We will definitely be coming back! Copper Creek’s golf course was designed by Golf Course Architect, Gordon Cunningham. The picturesque 18-hole championship golf course in nestled among mature trees, Iowa’s rolling hills and the beautiful homes of Copper Creek. The par 71 course was recognized in 2009 by Business Record as “One of the Best Golf Courses in Central Iowa.” Our golf course offers a unique golf experience and a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Whether you’re a “Sunday…

Copper Creek Golf Course is a gem! The views are absolutely stunning and the layout is both fun and challenging—a perfect fit for both me and my son. The staff was welcoming and helpful, making the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this course and we’ll definitely be making it a summer tradition!

Only 14 holes open due to construction, but they are beautiful! We didn’t play so well, but the down hill tee shots will help your driving distances for sure!

According to the website, twilight is “after 5pm” yet their last tee time is 5:12 pm, which would have been helpful information to include on the website as well. Instead, I was greeted by a less-than-welcoming older gentleman in the pro shop who I had to practically heckle to get that lack of logic out of. When I expressed that a 12-minute twilight window didn’t make sense, he replied, “Too bad.” I will be sticking with the friendly, down-to-Earth service at Breckenridge.

Loved the layout. Rental clubs were awesome Mizunos for both men and women. Great views and some of the holes were pretty tight. Each hole was very different, loved that. Chris Krance was real nice as the starter too! Would play agin

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Worst course by far in all of Breck and surrounding areas. Paid $250 for 18 + a rider and the course was nothing spectacular. You can play the jack Nicklaus designed course in breck for cheaper…. And get an actual clubhouse, course, and experience worth paying the money for. Also, don’t book times through the website because it hardly works…. On my buddy’s birthday, it timed out like 9 times, but still charged his card $3k….. now the clubhouse won’t respond and is avoiding his request for reimbursement. Truly disappointing and very frustrating especially sinc…

Guys we gotta talk about the cart lady Lisa. What the hell? Did she slice an onion before coming on the course. Ornery and angry, unreal. The starter bro was cool, would dap him up every time.

Copper Creek is a surprisingly fun and interesting course. I've heard & read mixed reviews. I'd say if you're a low handicap player or a beginner, this may not be the course for you. The rating and slope numbers and yardage really don't give a great impression of the course. If you like fun, stimulating golf, this is worth a visit. The staff is friendly. Their website description is worth reading in advance if you've never played the course. One thing to note, there is no driving range. You do get to warm up hitting balls into a net off of a mat. It's weird to swing a full swing with someone…
