In summary

Vail Golf Club is highly praised for its stunning mountain views, well-maintained course, and friendly, accommodating staff. The course layout is noted for its creative use of available space, offering a challenging yet enjoyable experience. While the venue is popular for weddings due to its picturesque setting, some visitors mention the proximity to the freeway can bring noise, and a few have noted that the course conditions can vary. Overall, it remains a favored destination for both golf and events.

Visited on way bacl to Denver. Left with a hat and hat clip and bag tag. Love the logo and looking forward to coming back and playing the course. Had a pga west 2 day event wrapping up while we were there. Looks to be a fun, challenging course.

The course is very nice, but not the best value in the area. Due to their location, the holes are just side by side in a long stretch. They still do a great job of changing your views and adding elevation changes though. For $150 a round you should at least get range balls included. I thought Breckenridge was a better course for less price if you're in the area.

I had the privilege to play golf in this nice place. Overall the maintenance is perfect, the courses are challenging (I really like that) and the staff working here is excellent! Nice and professional people, highly recommended ⛳️⛳️⛳️

Fantastic conditions and staff were super friendly. Greens were true and fairly quick. Course layout is challenged by the space they were able to use when building it but still good. Pace of play was spot on and the place clocks all over the course so when you come to one you should see your starting time. I’ve never seen that on a golf course before. Biggest drawback for me was how close it is to the freeway and the non-stop noise of cars and trucks.

Absolutely pristine mountain course. The layout following Gore Creek offered outstanding mountain views. It is pretty incredible how well the real estate available was utilized to build and beautiful and challenging course. One of the biggest highlights is how well maintained and beautiful the course is. I love that flowers and other vegetation were so integral to each area, not just the grass. Greens were smooth and true. The club house was beautiful and had an impressive pro shop.

I had the privilege of photographing a wedding at Vail Golf Club and it it an incredible place to get married. The wedding island is a unique feature with amazing Mountain View’s. The golf cart rides to and from it are a fun bonus and even the interior of the ballroom has a great view.

The course is in really bad shape. The green are very new, slow, and not rolled. It’s impossible to gauge approach shots and forget about reading the speed. The fairways are soaking wet all day long. The practice facility is great, sadly better than the course . Give this a year and it will likely be much better.

My husband and I had our wedding here in July and we are so very thankful that we chose the Vail Golf Club. We chose for our ceremony to take place on the wedding island and it is absolutely breathtaking. The views of the Gorge Range in the background are immaculate. We worked with Courtney to plan our wedding who has so much knowledge about the venue. We were planning a destination wedding so we had A LOT of questions and Courtney always responded to us in a timely manner. She also has a team that works under her on the wedding day who are rockstars! They work closely with your vendors to ma…

The course is in good shape right now. The ‘player assistant’ was Mr. grumpy pants but I didn’t let that guy ruin a beautiful day. The rest of the facilities and staff were really nice. The starter did a good job managing the busy day.

Very picturesque course, incredible scenery and well manicured but a few greens were a bit rough. Staff were extremely friendly. The ball sures travels further at altitude and there is some very deep rough in places.

Excellent golf course, pristine fairways and greens. The guys we golfed with said the greens were in bad shape in the past, but they must have figured it out, because it is beautiful now. Also, the staff is amazing, polite and very accommodating. They do have a driving range, putting green, chipping green and sand trap to warm up and practice before the round.
