Breckenridge Municipal Golf Club is widely praised for its stunning mountain views, well-maintained course conditions, and challenging Jack Nicklaus-designed layout. The staff is generally described as friendly and professional, contributing to an enjoyable golfing experience. While the amenities, including GPS-equipped carts and a well-stocked pro shop, are appreciated, some visitors have noted occasional issues with slow pace of play and isolated instances of staff rudeness.

Beautiful course. We enjoyed the round thoroughly. It was late in season so the grounds were starting to show some stress from the overnight freezing. It was still beautiful. At the end, one of the cart cleaning guys was a rude jerk over a misunderstanding. He shouted at us. It was uncalled for and unexpected from an otherwise great course.

Beautiful course, with views from almost every hole. Course staff was helpful and made sure the round was enjoyable. There was a player assistant cruising the course, there if you needed anything. Green ran fast, which added a good challenge. Jack Nicklaus never fails.

Amazing course. Glad I drove an hour and a half to play instead of playing around CS. Pics don't do this course justice

I live in Breck and feel super lucky to have this as my home course. It's always well maintained. The staff, every one of them, are absolutely fantastic every day, all day. I can tell they all take pride in it. I've been taking lessons with Curtis this summer and highly recommend him. 100% a true professional and he makes the concepts I need to work on very easy to understand. After my first 30 minute lesson I immediately saw improvements in my swing. Thx to all the staff you are truly the best around!

This is a phenomenal golf course. I played the Beaver/Bear combo when I played. There are mountain views everywhere and some gorgeous holes. Course is in great shape and the greens rolled true. Twilight rate is a great value, including green fee, cart, and range balls. Highly recommend if you are in the area.

Design: 10/10 Condition: 10/10 Price: for non members get ready Bathrooms: More than I have ever seen on a course Cart service is available often, complementary range balls and the range was perfect. All in all I think its worth it if you love golf you really get away from everything on this course.

The course was beautiful and in immaculate condition. Pro shop staff was very friendly and accommodating. Starter was engaging and informative. Would have given 5 stars but on the last 4 holes, 2 groups ahead, was an 8-some... yes an 8-some. What was a great pace of play came to a screeching halt and then waited to hit each shot. Played with friends and family, so while we couldn't believe it, we had a great time playing together. I'd play here again as im hopeful this was an anomaly.

The course was immaculate. Fairways were green (and challenging). The greens were green. Bunkers were difficult... as they should be. Every hole was beautiful with equal opportunities to lose balls or show your skill. Carts were well equipped with the latest tools. Pro shop had an extensive selection of clothing and supplies, including BGC branded items. By far, the best part of the day was the employees. Always professional. Always helpful -- even with special requests. It was a WONDERFUL outing. So glad we came.

We had the best experience. Everyone from the pro shop staff, to the cart attendant, to the regular that we played our round with were down-to-Earth, welcoming, and friendly. The Elk was in fantastic shape and the vistas were beautiful. We don’t need to try any other courses in the area because this one won us over.

The views were spectacular and the course was challenging with a great layout. Played the Elk course. The winter kill was a factor on some greens, yet we knew about that and despite it, the course was worth the afternoon! Great staff and facilities. Five stars, the turf was an anomalie.

This was our first time playing here and was well worth it. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and holes that each had a personality and unique challenge. The course is not very forgiving of a solid hook or slice but the greens are well kept and beautiful to play. The carts are equipped with GPS and information about the course. Plenty of rest stops, water and refreshment cart opportunities. Driving range is from grass which another plus. Oh and the lack of air really makes those ball fly far.
