In summary

The Woodford Club is praised for its beautiful setting, challenging golf course with quick greens, and excellent dining options, particularly at the Jack Jouett Tavern, which is noted for its flavorful dishes and extensive bourbon selection. The staff is generally well-regarded for their friendliness and helpfulness, especially in organizing group events. However, some visitors have experienced issues with course conditions, such as unkempt sand traps and rough greens, as well as occasional service lapses in the lounge and pro shop.

A Gem 💎 in Bourbon 🥃 Country! The homemade freshly made food BURSTS with flavor! The BEST meal in Woodford County! The smoked chicken wings are absolutely delicious with an incredible rub and sauce options to complement! They are a MUST 😍🤩. The burgers are outstanding! The signature burger has pulled pork and homemade onion straw with a delicious barbecue sauce! The BEST BURGER ever … blows everything else out of the water 🤯😎. The bar is incredible with great selections. The service was hometown… The Best😍. Thank you so very much for a memorable lunch see you next Bourbon Trip!

The woodford club was a great experience for our golf group. We scheduled a whole day including food and some pre-planned activities nearby (bourbon tasting after lunch, dinner nearby). The scenery was beautiful, the course was tough but a lot of fun. The food was maybe the best clubhouse food I’ve ever had, they’ve got serious food people there (shout out to T-Bone). Pam is great to work with if you’re trying to schedule a group event and everyone we interacted with was great!

These clowns booked us a tee time for 7:30 AM, then made us wait until the frost is completely off the greens—which will take 3 hours

Simply incredible. Our first time here for a Mother's Day dinner. I wanted the loaded tater tot appetizer and the wife wanted the spinach artichoke dip and both were amazing, especially the tater tots. We tried a couple cocktails and again, delicious. Our entrees were for her the smoked pork belly mac and cheese with salad. I was lucky to get a single taste before it was gone and it was great, I wish I had ordered it. I had the shrimp dinner, I chose fried with parmesan coated Yukon gold potatoes and instead if veggie medley I opted for the beer battered onion rings. So filling, the shrimp, al…

When I first met course owner Randy Clay in 2020, his vision was to make The Woodford Club a totally private club. However, with 26 courses within a 20-mile radius of Versailles, KY, it would not be an easy task. These days The Woodford Club is a semi-private facility with a lot to offer those who seek membership. Randy Clay is determined to take his golf product to the next level and earlier this year hired Bob Baldassari, a longtime member of the PGA and founder of Reimagine Golf, whose expertise in player development will help bring about the next generation of young golfers and potential…

We drove about 30 minutes to have dinner there last night-and so glad we did! It was one of the best meals we’ve had in so long. The sirloin was cooked to perfection, Onion Rings and Truffle fries were awesome and the brussel sprouts and salad was delicious! We had never been before and it’s a little hidden gem! Our waitress Janae was on top of everything too, she was fabulous. We will for sure be back!

Nice 18 hole golf course, quick greens, water on 2 holes. It’s an old school links style 72 par golf course. Not too crowded and it took right at 4 hours to play. You have to be a member or play with one on the weekend but through the week you can play on a recommendation from a member.

I was a member here for 20 years…have played here each year since at least a couple of rounds. Today the course was in terrible condition. The fairways were cut VERY short, and the rough for us weekenders was disastrous. The greens were recently serviced, so they were rough (no warning at check in). After 9 I stopped by Colonel Bogey’s lounge and NOBODY was there!!!! Called out repeatedly and nobody came. So, I went to the Pro Shop to pick up a snack. NOBODY was there!! I called out…nobody came. I walked out and the only person working was cleaning out a golf cart and she politely said “sorry.…

Tee time 10:09 on golf now, tee off on back b/c 3 groups waiting on 1st tee, been here before that is expected, clipping covered the fair ways, employee drives by in back swing on 9, make the turn and club house is closed no food, no beer, no water. Range was closed no practice balls before round, greens are covered in divots that have never been attempted to be fixed. You can pay half of this price for a round of golf and have a way better experience at probably 6 courses within 20 miles. NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

It was my first time there. I didn't know what to expect. We went for the Mothers day Prime rib Buffet. 11:00 AM -3:00PM We made reservations several days ahead of time for 1:15. They called the day before to confirm the reservation. We arrived early and could already tell things weren't going well. We were seated around 1:20. We were told to help ourselves to the Buffet. I got a salad and day down. I hadn't seen the Prime rib so I asked our server he said they'd be bringing more or shortly. Got in line to get something else. Someone else asks about the prime rib.. My girlfriend says they're b…
