In summary

Wild Turkey Trace is generally appreciated for its friendly staff, well-maintained greens, and scenic setting, making it a pleasant choice for golfers, particularly those with mid to high handicaps. The course offers a variety of challenges with wide fairways and several water hazards, and visitors often commend the food and amenities. However, some players have experienced delays due to groups of five and noted variable course conditions, including spotty fairways and slow greens.

Nice course. Staff are great. They do have a policy that allows members to play in groups of five. They can even join in with a group of four after a round starts. This obviously causes significant delays and is frustrating to have to wait several minutes on each hole due to this policy. Have played there several times and this is a common occurrence.

Really enjoyed the golf here. Fairways are wide open with med fast greens. Water comes into play on several holes and runs through the middle of those fairways as well. Play was on time taking g is 4 hrs 10 min to play on a busy course. Staff was friendly and bathrooms were clean.

Went here with 2 friends of mine. We were enjoying ourselves up until one of the employees decided to be rude and yell at us while we were on the green. Proceeded to drive up to us and be completely rude about wanting to play through. Course was “alright” at BEST. Do not recommend.

Fun course. I know they are working on the grass. But once it wasn't bad. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to bring our dog since we couldn't check in to our airbnb early. Would definitely go back and play again later in the season.

My review is for the food! If you want a good fish dinner this place has it!! I have never been disappointed with anything that myself, or family member has ordered from here!! Love the dill pickle chips🥰 portion size with anything you get is plentiful! Loaded nachos are seriously loaded 😋 You can dine in or carry out!! You guys rock up there always doing a great job! Thanks.

DO NOT GOLF HERE! One of the worst courses I have ever played. Fairway is dirt and rough is worse than an uncut backyard. Don’t get me started on the employees, rude as ever. They were downright disrespectful to my group. If I could I would rate this course negative stars.

Great course, awesome staff at the pro shop. First time playing today and I'll definitely be back. Greens roll slow. Bent grass. Beautiful and wide open with alot of water and some sand traps to make it interesting.

Course was in pretty good shape. None of the holes are marked, no arrows which way to go so that was a guessing game. Went well until hole 10, waited 30 min on each hole to tee off due to big SLOW group in front! I ended up leaving at hole 14, not worth waiting 2 hours to play last four holes.

Read a bad review on here and they are completely wrong. I play all over KY and this is definitely a great course. My son played a match here, I did not play, but decided I had to come back here and play. This course is challenging for amateur golfers but it is fun and in great shape. Ignore anyone saying don’t play here. Give the course a try
