Overall the course is in great shape. Not 1 trap was playable, " MUDHOLE ". The layout was good with medium length rough, well groomed fairways, and nice maintained greens. Make sure you keep your ball inside the hole your playing. Lots of very tall grass and water to avoid.

Windy knoll is a great establishment, if you want to arrive with nobody at the pro shop, and have no one to help you when you arrive. This happened last year in december, and the manager tom reached out and resolved it relatively fast. After coming back out the remainder of this golf season and dealing with the mediocre customer service, at best, i continue to come back because the course it relatively nice for the area, and only a 40 minute drive. Well, I came again today after booking on golf now, and using my discount coupon, which you can only use once. And arrived to again, no one in the…

Not a bad course. somewhat difficult. All carts had torn seats and what kind of wore out. Fairways are not manicured at all

The course has a ton of potential, unfortunately it’s way let go. Overgrown grass everywhere, bunkers are muddy, and fairways are pepperoni pizza. Just looks like there’s not enough funding for upkeep. Even the scorecards are as basic as can be. For a first time player there’s no direction or layout anywhere! Sadly, it could be a very cool fun course.

Great layout and great conditions! Greens are nice but need to teach golfers to repair divots! Heard a rumor that they are selling this course and keeping 9 holes. Would be a sad day to see one of the better courses in the area go away!

Great day. Course in great shape. Staff friendly & courteous. Rough on some holes very knarly. Greens rolling smooth & consistent even though grass still somewhat brown. Greens not holding approach shots yet. Fairways cut nicely.

If you are not a part of this club, dont bother going if you’re a new comer. The staff caters to the regulars and are far from welcoming. They were extremely rude from the start and one of the workers rolled his eyes when my man told them it was my first time playing 18 holes. At the turn we quickly got a hotdog and refilled our cooler. We were literally targeted by one of the employees who insisted we took far too long at the turn. (The 10th hole was not clearly marked so we got lost). So the employee demanded we skip a hole to get caught up. We spent a good deal of money and felt like an inc…

Challenging and enjoyable. Very friendly clubhouse staff who you can tell really care about both the course and your experience while there. Course was in great shape (played on 6/6/2025).

This course is amazing and for the price on golf now it is unbeatable. The course is a links type course with long flat holes and they play very long when it is windy as the name implies Staff is very friendly, I made a reservation for the wrong day and prepaid and they still let me play. Great course

My dad and I played the back 9 at 3pm Sunday, November 17. Course was outstanding. Not crowded so no wait, fairways still green as hell, and best kept greens in Springfield.
