In summary

Western Hills Golf Course receives praise for its well-maintained fairways and greens, recent improvements to cart paths, and the quality of its restaurant and event services. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, as well as the reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have experienced issues with rude staff, poor course layout, and maintenance concerns, such as rough cart paths and inconsistent fairway conditions. Additionally, there have been complaints about communication and booking issues, as well as occasional overcrowding and slow play.

Paid for 18 holes. Made it through and then got caught in a thunderstorm. They gave us passes to do nine another day. Staff made the rounds with refreshments so even though I forgot to bring water, was able to stay hydrated. Had a late lunch after and the food was really good!

Booked a tee time for one - pairing of three with me tells the starter they have 4. So now I either get kicked off or am stuck with three pissed off boomers that can’t use the internet.

Been going there all summer and the old guy at the pro shop has been nothing but rude and disrespectful. Left a speaker there one night on the cart by accident went back the next day and saw it behind the counter. When I asked him about it he said it was left there a long time ago. Even when it connected to my phone immediately after turning it on he still tried to say it wasn’t mine.

The course is in amazing shape. They just completed an entire cart path project which looks great. Lots of tree cleanup has been done and the fairways and greens are rolling beautifully. You really cannot beat the price. Those who haven’t played here in a couple of years need to get back out and try it, definitely one of the nicest public courses in the area.

I was a guest at a bereavement luncheon there. The manager, Tony, is a great host. He makes you feel very welcome, as if you part of his own family. The food and service were excellent as were the accommodations on the outdoor deck.

Will be a nice little coarse when they finish working on it. They are not. I would give them a few weeks.

Just had my daughters graduation party there the staff was excellent and the bbq menu they served was awesome. A special thank you also goes out to Devin who not only made the younger kids welcome in the putting green but also went in the pro shop and bought a putter for the kids. Devin definitely made the kids say. Thank you Verdi for helping to make my daughters graduation party a great success.

This is definitely not your best option in the area. The course alone is not maintained very well. The starter was rude and has limited knowledge of the actual rules, even after we thoroughly and explicitly pointed out those rules to him, which contradicted his reasoning. We ended up getting our money back before we even started. It will be a while, if at all, before I ever return here. Like I said, there are better options in the area.

Played Western Hills for the first time mid-April 2022. Still early in the season but I was surprised on how hard the greens were. Fairways were in good condition. On the front 9) rates were reasonable. I had to take off a star because the asphalt cart paths are in rough shape. There was more than one hole where the pot holes and transition to grass felt like I had slipped a disk or chipped a tooth.

Celebrated my daughter Rita's college graduation at Verdi. Food was absolutely delishes. Staff very attentive and courteous. I would have given 5 stars but only has 2 bartenders for our party,a wedding party and regular club guests. It was a lot for 2 bartenders to handle. We paid for open bar and ppl not associated with our party learned of it and got free drinks using our party name until someone in our party realize what they where doing. Shame on those people taking advantage of Verdi. Joanne Cavallo D'Amelio was absolutely wonderful in making sure we were taken care of. ❤ I know it's just…

Not a bad course at all especially operations wise. Wish there were some more scenic holes but still a lot of fun to be had here. The restaurant here is absolutely great.
