In summary

East Mountain Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, friendly staff, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular choice for golfers seeking a quality municipal course. The course layout is generally appreciated, though some find it less challenging compared to other local options. However, there are recurring criticisms regarding the pace of play, maintenance of cart paths, and issues with tee time management, which some feel detract from the overall experience.

What a gem! I recently discovered this course. Loved everything about it. The course was well manicured, the locker rooms are a nice touch and very clean, great bar and food. I can't finish the review without mentioning how friendly EVERY staff member was that we interacted with. Will definitely be making the drive to play this course again!

The course itself is fine, could use some repairs but could be worse. The problem is almost every time I play 18 here they let some idiot start off the back and it the round goes from moving at a decent pace to crawling. I get they wanna make money but letting people off the back ruins rounds for others and the course has to know that. Avoid if you can.

Cart paths not maintained well parking is a mess with the construction. But here’s my biggest issue… I volunteer on behalf of a new non profit that benefits the city of Waterbury and its at risk constituents. I tried reaching out to see if they would donate a weekday two some for the benefit. A value of $60. THEY HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. THREE SEPARATE TIMES THREE SEPARATE DAYS. If you’re not interested or can’t do it-fine! I get it. Say so. Treat people as if you’re a professional business and an adult with respect. NOT the type of people I’d ever support with my business going forward. I sug…

This was my second round here at East Mountain. Its early June and the course is in great shape. Fairways are cut clean and greens are groomed well. Reasonable weekday rates. UPDATE: July 13 2022. Course is still in very good condition. In the 'off-season' at least a dozen areas where cart paths end need to be leveled out. It's like riding over 10-15 spine shattering speed bumps in a row. The starter was a little 'pushy' at the turn (league was coming out to play) we played a fast front nine. If time is going to be an issue for leagues - dont offer tee times after 13:00hrs on league days.

The course is in good shape. This was my first time playing this course. It is a little short, only one par 5 on the back. Fairways are wide and generous. Greens were in excellent shape, fast, not easy. Greens fees are excellent 👍👍

Course was in pretty nice shape ,I thought 33 bucks was a little steep for 9 holes but it wouldn't stop me from going back!

It was a beautiful day for golf so that right there gets them a couple stars off experience..but we went on a Monday idk if this was maintenance day or what..the greens were full of holes could not get any type of gage on putting ..the fairways weren't much better ..perfect example my stepfather took a shot from the fairway didn't get a lot of air but it was straight and hit hard..bounced once directly into a mud pit and stuck there in the middle of the fairway..last thing they turned the sprinklers on us on the 9th hole ..middle of the day a bunch of people out there..all in all it was a litt…

Haven't played there yet, so I don't know the course. But the food is great and the prices are reasonable. I deliver packages there for a large international delivery company and everyone there seems super nice. Some of my stops also golf there. One day I'll bring the clubs with me on a slow day if you mfers stop ordering everything online. Please wear a mask and maintain social distancing.

I have been playing golf at East Mountain for five years and there is always a problem. They spray the greens and then the tees every Thursday. I get a 7:04 flight time with three of my buddies but, we have to wait for an hour before we can play. If I get a 7:04 flight time I expect to tee off at that time and we never do. There is always slow play and no one ever enforces it. So a round of golf takes much longer to play. I am not the only one who feels this way and something should be done. It's a nice course and in good shape but, please run it the way it should be run. People were leaving t…
