In summary

Woodhaven Country Club is appreciated for its friendly staff, scenic setting, and well-maintained course with challenging greens and a variety of obstacles. However, there are frequent complaints about the slow pace of play, unaccommodating staff, and course conditions, particularly the greens and fairways, which some find in need of improvement. Additionally, issues with course management, such as handling of slow groups and enforcing etiquette, have been noted by several visitors.

Probably the worst greens I have ever played. Grass was so long it was almost unplayable literally better off chipping if you had anything more than a 10 foot putt. Tee box Grass might have been shorter than the greens tbh. Also we're harassed for pace of play. Took us 2 hours to finish the first 9 2nd 9 almost 3 hours due to groups infront of us. Course ranger was in the middle of the fairway 250 out with the group infront of us. Waited for them to clear and had the audacity to drive towards us on the teebox and try to say we were ok to hit. I have golfed from the age of 12 I carry my Mizuno…

Staff is friendly. The shop has some good options and the course is well maintained. The 9 hole course has great variety in shape, elevation, obstacles, and difficulty. I love to play here, but I do not recommend playing 18. You replay the same 9 holes, and the course gets seriously backed up when you start from the beginning again. We sailed through the first 9, then had up to 20 minute waits for the 2nd 9. Overall though I highly recommend this course.

Horrible experience, took some of our friends here to learn the game and was completely surprised by our treatment from the staff. From the second we paid to our time leaving the actual course we were harassed and berated by a head staff member. Even took it upon himself to follow and stalk us along the course because we were “taking too long” and our friends (who didn’t know the game fully) weren’t showing “golf etiquette”. I’m sorry but this isn’t the Masters tournament and just because you want to get out early doesn’t mean you should harass customers. Mind you we even finished when the gol…

Been here before quite a few times and usually had an okay experience. Went recently and the course was in ROUGH shape. Two greens were basically unplayable and the rest weren't much better. Giant sinkholes in the middle of fairways. Some of the staff was rather rude. Had two newer players with us and after one hit a ball in the woods was told by the "groundskeeper" this isnt a driving range and he couldnt hit another tee shot, even with no group behind us. Plenty of nicer courses around that are cheaper or comparable. Probably wouldn't be coming back here this season.

I played here today and so far this is my favorite course that I played (note: I am new to golf and have only played a few other courses so far). Both staff members that I dealt with were super friendly, the entire course is scenic, the greens were super well kept but also challenging, and it also was affordable. The only thing that was frustrating was I got stuck behind this foresome that was beyond slow- literally to the point that me and two separate groups behind me were waiting for them on every hole. That being said I don't want to hold this against the course unless it becomes a pattern…

Played here in the past a bunch and had good experiences. The course is a mess now, most of the greens and tee boxes were in rough shape, areas roped off, everything pretty beat. The starter was rude beyond the point of normal course etiquette. Kept harping that we don't take divots or multiple shots and keep up pace of play as they are trying to repair the course. All that while we were behind a slow group of 4 and could not play any faster. $42 for a 9 hole with cart is pretty steep, especially for a course in that shape and an unaccommodating staff.

Great little 9 hole course. Greens are well , well kept on all 9. Fairways are very good. They are working well within the boundaries of Covid-19 requirements too.

Had an enjoyable round yesterday with friends first time out at Wood Haven this year. The staff was very friendly. The course was in very good shape for this early in the season and the newly paved cart paths are a welcome addition. It was clear that the greens were very recently aerated and as a result extremely difficult to putt. We would have liked to have known that when we booked the tee time. I know from experience that not all golf courses will publicize aeration scheduling information on their website or let golfers know before they tee off.

The course was well maintained and had an enjoyable layout. Staff was very friendly. Only con was that the greens were extremely slow.

Really fun 9 holes. Great for price. Great Tee boxes and challenging Greens that are Steep back to front slope. Great to see the improvements over the past 2 years. From what it had become to now and what's coming in future talking with staff. Can be short for long players but they make up for it with Tee box positions. Making it so you have shape your Tee shot.

I played my first round there last season. Never went there before as I had heard a lot of unfavorable talk about this course. However I found the course to be in great shape with nice greens. Great price for 9 holes with a cart. Its not a very busy course either you can usually walk on without a tee time. The club house is old and could use an updating.

Course is in fair shape. The bunkers don't appear to be getting any maintenance at all. The bugs are simply out of control here. You can't avoid them, from the parking lot thru the entire course. Repellant doesn't seem to affect them. Best solution seemed to be no hat and something to cover your neck. Greens are challenging as always, a lot of slope. Overall great value though, under $25 to walk 9 holes.
