Country Club of Waterbury

Just recently had my baby shower at CCW where my father-in-law is a member for years. From beginning of planning until the end of the event, everything went smoothly and turned out perfect! Mike was AMAZING.. such a help throughout the process.. and boy, did we run him through the mill! The waitstaff was also amazing.. especially Nikki, who was so attentive and accommodating. Food was perfect, and the views were breathtaking. Thank you so much for everything!! Highly recommend for any events you may need :)

Played here twice with the CT Am Tour and it’s my favorite private course I’ve ever been to. It’s hard, beautiful and premium. If you get the chance to play there as a guest (or you can afford a membership) it’s more than worth it.

Great day for some golf, we may not have won the tournament, but we sure cleaned up in the raffles! Course was very clean, greens were in great shape.

Had dinner here last night for Oktoberfest. The food and service were amazing!

Great day. Country Club personnel treated us like we were members.

They hosted a fundraiser for an organization I volunteer for. We did breakfast, and everything was perfect. They had great serive and the wait state was on par. There's a beautiful view on the balcony and there was ample parking. I would recommend holding an event here.

I was a guest at the pool this afternoon, and heard a supervisor inappropriately yelling at a lifeguard (while he was on the chair) about the way he was wearing his hat. He did not allow the lifeguard to speak at all. It was extremely unprofessional, and in front of all members at the pool. Will not be coming back.

Attended a baby shower. Lovely place; tasty food. Only 4 stars because buffet trays were not refilled promptly. It was a brunch and I heard the French toast was good, but I'll never know

Attended a wedding reception here. It was the first time I'd been back to the Waterbury Country Club in over 40 years as I used to caddy there when I was in high school. The grounds were beautiful, the wedding was awesome, and the food was out of this world! The service and staff were also exceptional. Would highly recommend the country club as a venue for any social Gathering

Terrible, unprofessional and shady people. My sister booked her wedding and signed her contract a year before her wedding date. 4 months out till the wedding, my sister asked to meet with them to go over timeline of the wedding night. When my sister went there and met with them, they told her that the package changed to an additional 60 dollars a person and other additional fees on top of that. When was the country club planning to let my sister know this? The day of the wedding? How can you change the price of a wedding package when someone is already booked and have a signed contract? The Membership team at the Country Club of Waterbury were incredible welcoming and accommodating. The new pro Brad seems very knowledgeable and friendly. The golf course looks like its primed for great season. The course is in tip top shape. It seems like it was a bit early and cold for the tennis courts and pool but this club has all the essentials for a summer of fun for the golfer and his/her family.

Played in October 2019. Lightning fast greens. Course was super green and in fantastic shape. Some of the pin placements were a bit unfair, where a decent putt missed that would normally go 2 feet past, went off the green, but otherwise no complaints. Looks like they put a bunch of money into the course.
