In summary

Victory Hills Golf Course receives praise for its friendly staff, picturesque setting, and well-maintained greens, with some visitors enjoying the challenging speed of the greens. However, several golfers express concerns about the overall course condition, particularly the cart paths and fairways, which some describe as hard and barren, affecting playability. While the course offers good value on weekdays, the weekend pricing is seen as high given the current state of the course.

This was my first time ever golfing here today, and I had been wanting to try it for a little while. I'm glad I did, but I found some things about it a little odd and confusing. There were no distance markers to the greens (such as for 100 or 150 yards out) on any of the fairways, which made things kind of tough to judge. I played the white tees, but the "yellow" tee markers were also kind of an off white, which made them easy to mix up with until I got used to the course. That seems like a very easy fix. I accidentally teed off on the 15th hole while looking for the 13th before realizing my m…

The course was in good shape for the first week of March. Cart paths are in rough shape, but other than that, it is a fine golf course for the price. Sunset views on the back 9 were stunning yesterday. Looking forward to playing here again this summer.

I usually get out to Victory Hills once or twice per year. My round on 5/29/25 had the course in as good a shape as I can remember. All the recent rain has kept the course lush. The course tends to dry out and get barren in late summer with less rain. Strongly advise playing in the next few weeks vs late summer. All the greens were rolled and in very good shape early in the morning as I was the first to tee off. I echo a prior comment that the greens are deceptively quick, and you don’t want to be above the hole if you can. I hit a couple good approach shots only to have the ball back up by 8…

I enjoyed the course very much. I heard a few greens would be very hard to navigate, but didn't get to experience that because of the rain & greens still being softer. Will definitely go back, eager to see how fast they really are. Didn't do as well as I hoped, wasn't playing real bad, just didn't know the course which got me in trouble a few times. Enjoyed the clubhouse & atmosphere.......food also was good and staff friendly

Course is in absolute horrible shape. Greens are lightning fast. So fast you could hit several feet before the green and your ball could likely still go off on the other side. The fairways, yeah there are none. The rough is like a hard rock that just keep carrying your ball. 1st hole was close to the range and good luck finding your ball if you hit just 2 feet left of the fairway. Oh and price $56 for 18 and a cart of weekends. Pay more or less and play somewhere way better. Even in this hot draught we had. Many more courses are in fair better shape. I have to go back to my high school days at…

Easily the worst course I’ve ever played on in 25 years. Also one of the most expensive which makes zero sense with how horrific of shape the course is in. It’s honestly unplayable unless you want to destroy your wrists and clubs. The entire course is comparable to actual concrete. They must not use any water at all. (Maybe they’re too cheap to use water 🤷🏼‍♂️) There’s no fairways (see picture attached and that is every "fairway" on the course) and there was literally zero redeeming qualities to mention. None at all. Fast isn’t even the proper word for the entire course. There may not even be…

Probably the fastest greens on a public golf course. Whatever you do, dont be above the hole. Nice thick rough also. Keep it in the fairway and below the hole to score good on this short course.

Course is in rough shape. Greens were hard but fair, other than 1 hole has a terrible hole placement that just rolls off the green. Lost 3 balls that hit the fairway and proceeded to bounce on the concrete hard burned out "grass" into the woods. Their sprinklers must be broken because there is more brown hard spots than green grass. We basically agreed to move our balls anytime we landed on a brown patch to avoid breaking our clubs/wrists. If it wasnt $56 to play here I wouldnt leave a review but honestly feel like we got robbed. This is definitely not a $56 golf course. Id give it a 3 star if…

The good. Great grill with good food and cold beer. Proshop ladies very pleasent. The bad. Cart paths are very bad could actually cause an injury. The ugly. Course has some deep ruts along the beat-up cart paths . Be careful driving. Greens were fine and fairways plush A bit of TLC here and back on track.

The course is awful and they have the audacity to charge full price when the course conditions are nearly unplayable. There is more bare, rock hard brown than grass on the entire course. Yes, it has been hot and dry, but not one other course I’ve seen has been like this. The entire course looks like the attached picture. It’s like hitting your ball onto gravel. You have no idea which direction it might bounce off fairway. Left after not even fully playing the front 9 because of how terrible the conditions were and how many balls were lost after a straight drive down the fairway bounced sideway…

Wish I could rate it an 2.5 instead of a 2. Definitely not worth $50+. Golf course was in ok shape.. rough was never difficult like other courses, felt like you are hitting out of your back yard. Greens were hard like cement and just kept rolling. Must stay under the hole unless you like 3 putts. You never get a reward for a good tee shot on the par 4s or 5s, hit it into the fairway and the ball is 8 inches under or above your feet. The cart paths shouldn’t even exist.. they should be removed completely unless you’re used to driving in a war zone. The clubhouse staff and bar/wait staff ar…

Staff are very nice and friendly. But as for the actual course and price. Fairways are like concrete, greens are like flash Gordon. They really need to do an over haul. The price doesn't match the condition at all.
