The club offers a variety of amenities, including a nice clubhouse and a convenient driving range. This course is in great great shape for being as busy as it is for a public course but there is a serious pace of play problem every time I go.. They have starters at both 1 tees checking times but it doesn’t seem to make a difference, at one point there were 3 different groups in front of us trying to hit onto the same green… honestly insane. Never seen anything like it!

Xavier had another spectacular round at Butler's on the Lakeside course. He made sure to take in a sunny day, and enjoyed the course conditions. His favorite is the hot dog at the turn. A must "glizzy" for any golf enthusiast!

They have 36 holes and are sending people out every 7.5 minutes. Greedy. My round on Lakeside took over 5.5 hours, waiting on every tee, sometimes with 3 groups on a tee box. Won’t be coming back here. It’s a shame because it’s a decent course.

My dad used to play Lakeside front 9 as a kid with his dad (my grandpa) who passed away when I was little. My dad and I were finally able to make it out there to play the 9 that my dad and his dad used to play together when my dad was a child. I made the booking/tee time 7 days in advance and it turned out there was a company tourney the same day as our t time so we were informed we could play woodside but probably not lakeside. We also stayed at the bed and breakfast the night before which was super convenient. The morning of our tee time we showed up an hour and a half early and explained wh…

The course and amenities are great. The play is very slow. We had a 5hr45min round on a Thursday Afternoon. We removed this course from our rotation a couple of years ago and the pace of play has not changed. The carts are old as dirt. When we got there two groups were calling the clubhouse becy the carts broke down. Then One of our hearts broke down. And the other one didn't have any breaks.

Good 36 holes. Woodside course is short from the tip 6400 yards. Lakeside plays a little longer... Usually in good shape..

Played Lakeaide. A great value course with some excellent views. The 18th is a signature looking hole. The course is challenging, but plenty of chances to scores. Greens were in decent shape. Some bunkers were not playable.

I play at Butler's a few times a year and I really enjoy it. Very courteous and helpful staff. Course is in solid shape, except for the cart paths at least on the Woodside course (as of 4/3/21). Beautiful vistas and reasonable challenge including sloping fairways to help expand your game. During one of my rounds, there was a foursome behind who was causing some issues yelling at other parties on the course, and the clubhouse staff was very responsive in professionally deescalating the situation. I really like Butler's and its nice driving range with buy-by-card automated ball machine and I wil…

Don’t play here on the weekend between 9:30am- 3pm if you want to be done within 4.5 hours. Guarantee 5.5 hour round if you’re in that time slot. Course is so busy and there’s no range to move along pace of play. Course is average at best. Also, a bit burnt out in a lot of areas.

We have had the Steve Kraus Golf Outing at Butler's Golf Course for 6 or 7 years. We started going there because it was so much more reasonable with the price and the staff has already been excellent with whatever we need. Thank you Helen, Byron, Brian and all others who have helped over the years
