In summary

Westwood Golf Club offers a mix of open and challenging fairways, with some players appreciating its affordability during weekday play. However, many visitors express concerns about the poor condition of the cart paths, greens, and bunkers, as well as inconsistent maintenance and customer service issues. The course layout and booking system have also been criticized, with some players finding it confusing and experiencing difficulties with online reservations.

I unfortunately have nothing good to say about Westwood. I grew up down the street and still live minutes away. For the amount you pay to play here, you’re better off going to another course. It is so sad to see how poorly this course is taken care of. The cart paths are actually insane. The kicker? When you call to book a tee time they tell you to make sure you’re wearing a polo shirt. To golf at Westwood? Get a grip. Go somewhere else. Someone please buy this place and make improvements.

I played on 8/17/2025 and it was in terrible condition. Fairways burnt out, greens burnt out, some tee boxes were just dirt. Also, I had the first tee time of the day for a 2 some. We played the front 9 with no issue at a fast pace, but when we made the turn, we discovered that they had let multiple 4somes off of the back nine which resulted in us waiting on every single shot. Pretty terrible experience for $53 green fee.

The course is of course a bit dated, and yes, you will find the cart paths somewhat dangerous in places, and the routing is odd in a couple places, but the price for 18+cart is not outrageous at $39 for weekday play. Also, the greens are very well maintained and fair. Played 18 w my son in 3 1/2 hours on a Tuesday AM w no pressure to play faster...and w never having played before, we had a fine time..easy to book, not busy, and a fair price.

I usually play Westwood once a year on the Tee Time Pass at either $18 or $25 depending on the time of day I play. I would not play it for full price. I was told before I paid that holes 15 and 16 were closed for mtce, and I could hit two balls on other holes on the back 9 to make up for it. I did see them working on these holes and it made sense as these holes are some of the harshest laid out holes. The pro shop is fine and the attendant was friendly. The men’s locker room seemed to be an afterthought though with the restroom some what make shift with very poor lighting. When rating a cou…

Met the director Terrry today. Real bad attitude, incredibly rude. I can see now why the club gets such bad reviews because someone so rude runs it and apparently doesnt care about the cart paths or the people on them.

A good mix of open and challenging fairways. This course has a couple holes that are uphill with hidden pins, bunkers could be better managed for the price in my opinion and the cart path seems to get more and more non-existent as you play your round. The rough looked and played like lawn grass the hasn't been cut and grew to be 4 1/2 to 5 inches tall. It was a cool experience playing this course for the first time. I don't know if I would go out of my way to come back given the cost

Horrendous course for the price. Cart paths are in worse condition than the side by side trails in Moab. They’ve surpassed poor conditions and are just straight up dangerous. There’s man made cart paths around the actual cart path so there cart ruts everywhere. Greens are rutted and crab grass everywhere. Can lose a ball on the fairway the grass is so tall. Horrible. Will never return.

This place has gone way downhill. Owner cares more about to scrappy houses built on property rather then the upkeep of the golf course.

Unarguably the worst “cart paths” ever. Looked like a grenade went off on them. Sand in the bunkers was hard as a rock, nearly impossible to play out of. Course layout was as confusing as humanly possible. Half of the tee boxes were basically dirt due to the amount of swings taken from them. Minimal to no upkeep on them. Not worth the $50 green fees.

I have frequented this course often since moving into the area, but will probably avoid this course from now on. Had to wait on one of the greens keeper on every single one of our last 4 holes to stop mowing the fair way so we could hit on nearly every shot. Our pace of play went way down and eventually two singles caught up to our 2 man and were waiting on us because we continually had to wait on the greens keeper. He then pulled up to us and yelled, “You have to get moving you’re playing way too slow”. I pointed out that it’s been him we’ve been waiting on every hole, but to him it was becau…

Have been a regular at Westwood for decades. I shouldn't be because they obviously don't take any pride in the course or even try to keep up with it. I've tried multiple times this summer to book online and it's always an issue that they admit they have. So on 9/3/25 I showed up because I can't book online which said $24 for 18 holes. I get there and he tries charging me $42. Said the $24 is the online price. Then said "I guess I can give you the senior discount" and charges me $33. No.. it's $24. You admit that you have issues with the online booking then proceed to charge me more because I d…

This course has grown on me. Not too long and not too difficult. It's perfect for an after work round.
