After a first round at Union League National Golf Club, the impression is that everything is done at a really high level. The course stands out right away for its conditioning, with firm fairways and smooth greens, and the layout has a nice balance where some holes let you open it up while others make you think a bit more. The 27-hole setup adds variety, and the overall property has a wide-open, coastal feel that’s different from most courses in the area. For a first visit, it leaves a strong impression and feels like a place worth coming back to.

Nice golf course. I like the elevation changes which are unusual for south jersey. Very well maintained. Only downside was a few too many short par fours for my liking.

I don't understand how this place has so many positive reviews. I played here in April and the course is VERY under construction. It seems as though they will not be done constructing this course for another few years. I do like that they are essentially starting with a blank canvas and creating the course from scratch but more care could be taken to ensure that there is no standing water or sand patches in the middle of fairways. Was lucky enough to tag along w my father in law. Course is really coming along. Staff is great, course is tough but had a blast. Carts are top notch electric w GPS touch screen and a side cooler. They also have the scooter carts that look fun to ride.

So much fun to play. In great shape. Some absolutely diabolically holes and green complexes. Great indoor and outdoor crews. Food was very tasty. Yum.

Played 6/30/2022 and was blown away by how the course had changed since it was the Sand Barrens previously. Many holes felt as if you were in Arizona not NJ. The greens were fast and a bit harder than I would have liked. This was easily one of the top 5 courses I have ever played.

Union League National is an incredible course. Though the greens were a bit ridiculous, it was a fun course with amazing attention to detail. Our caddy, Nick, was patient, gracious, and overall awesome.
