Stone Harbor Golf Club

We hosted our daughters bridal shower at the Stone Harbor Gulf Club on Sunday. The affair was just perfect. The club is beautiful, the staff happy helpful and on top of every detail. The chef created a wonderful meal that made everyone want seconds. He also created a vegan meal at the last minute that made me want to become a vegan...Thank you all for working together and making our funcation a magical event..

We absolutely love everything about the Stone Harbor Golf Club - The service, the staff, the food, the ambience, etc. My son’s wedding in October was perfection; in very large part due to the care and attentiveness of the staff. Every event is done with elegance and class. All of friends whom we bring to the club are highly impressed. The staff is exceptional. They all work so hard to ensure a memorable experience for all. During the majority of our dining experiences, we’ve had the pleasure of Beth taking care of us. She has gone above and beyond to get to know our likes and dislikes, always…

Every time we deal with Beth I wonder why she’s still employed there. She’s rude, condescending and really brings this place down. If you’re trying to create an upscale, warm and inviting experience that’s the last person you want to have representing your brand.

Great course ,food and service .This is my second course so i have a social member ship . I have learned that you can not get out on weekends, holidays and days before holidays late afternoon if you are a social member . So beware if you are thinking of joining as a social and want to play on the weekend or holidays in season , not happening.

Good test of golf with the toughest finishing hole in the state. Greens are usually fast and conditions are good. The re-build on the front nine made it more fair and playable, especially on 2 and 6. One problem though; slow play. Last 2 times I was there, the foursomes in front of us were allowed to take 2 hours and 30 minutes to play the front nine with carts allowed on the course. In both cases, nobody was preparing to shoot or lining up putts while others were hitting. Very strange. Private club golf should take 3 and a half hours per foursome, not 5 hours. Was here for a wedding but have golfed her too. Challenging course with amazing beauty. A nice mix with water and mash land for obstacles. Beautiful setting for a wedding. Staff is very attentive and give a high level of service. The food was outstanding too

Love the place because it challenges my game to the max on a few holes and has some very interesting strategies on others. # 2 is my favorite “hard” hole. The Master Plan looks good to fix some problems. A few pet peeves; Missing the green on 4 is par too penal (change is coming in the master plan), Members leave far too many ball marks on the greens, Lost clubs and equipment are rarely found or returned.

Super nice quiet place, very clean and plays well. Staff was very professional , golf carts are very modern pleasure to drive. It can be very hard to find a great hot dog on a golf course but this place has some great ones!!! I would play stone harbor golf course again.

With new management, the course is in better condition. Foods were always good here. They have more membership options. One of the best finishing holes...even better than premium courses in Florida.

The good: nice course layout. The bad: no markings for pin placements, water on course, ball washers, limited fairway distance markets, no directions to the next hole, no tee markets on a couple of holes, no food/drink service on the course, sand traps were terrible for a shore course

Best golf club in southern New Jersey/southern Jersey Shore. Beautiful golf course, amazing food, beautiful and classy inside and such a nice staff. Also, one amazing place to have wedding receptions and parties. It is worth the membership!
