In summary

Cape May National Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful and challenging course layout, friendly staff, and enjoyable playing experience. However, some visitors have raised concerns about course maintenance, particularly the condition of greens and tee boxes, as well as issues with pace of play and communication regarding course conditions and pricing. Despite these criticisms, many find the course to be a worthwhile destination for golfers in the area.

Really enjoyed this course layout was amazing...staff was very friendly....a little cnjested at times but overall a great experience....the beautiful young lady working the bar was super sweet and made waiting for my tee time enjoyable...will definitely love to come back some day...

$120 for a round of golf. The greens were punched over 2 weeks earlier and they were in terrible shape. Bouncy and overly sanded. Of course no mention before the round about the greens. The golf cart has not been cleaned in what must be a couple of weeks if not months. I just watched them run carts out as they came in. Not as much as a hose or clean out any garbage. The tee boxes were not in great shape. Spotty at best. The course lay out is not terrible and the course has the bones to be great. But at $120 a round i expect way more than what I got.

I really enjoyed playing this course. Very well designed holes with good risk/reward, but never punishing. Course was in great shape despite rain the night before. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Definitely worth playing if you're in the area.

Beautiful course, one of the best in the area. The biggest complaint, we had a 2:10 tee time which is fine it was the only one left that’s how busy it was, but to let 2 walkons in and put them between two foursomes and let them walk is totally absurd. We were moving along at a good pace until this happened and turned a nice round into almost a 6hr round. Totally unacceptable.

Had a group that played at this course 9/25, and while the course has a fun layout, we encountered a couple of issues that really detracted from the experience — both centered on communication and customer value. First, we had three tee times at 12:50, 1:00, and 1:10 PM. The course offers afternoon rates for tee times after 1:00 PM, but this policy was never communicated to us. It was only through our own conversation on-site that we discovered it. When I later called the clubhouse to discuss this, I was told that we got lucky that only 5 out of 10 players paid full price — even though by the…

Beautiful course, challenging but not extremely difficult. Lots of water hazards, but not bad if you hit em straight... Definitely looking forward to my next round, only downside was the punched the green on the front nine and they were sandy, but it has to be done.

Played there Saturday morning. Love the course, but we had a foursome behind that one individual hit up on us twice we were playing at a steady pace with a threesome in front of us. Don’t appreciate going to a golf course and have somebody who thinks he owns the golf course hitting up on us because he thought we weren’t going fast enough got back to the clubhouse to find out this individual has been a problem doesn’t seem like the golf course will do anything about it and so for that I will never golf there again

Nice track, fair price and the staff was very accommodating. Unfortunately they were doing their fall fairway plugging on the front nine so we played the back twice. We saw two eagles up close along the east side of the course and other wild foul as well. Little things like ballwashers, signs...ect are being neglected since our last visit.

Great course, giant glizzies, a few tee boxes need some love but the fairways and greens are in great shape, healing from aeration, consistent speed and healthy. Love the unique hole signs!

Not the best experience. Played on a Saturday morning for $110 which is steep for the shape that the course was in. The course layout was alright, but staff was not friendly other than the ranger. He did a great job in trying to keep pace of play under 6 hours with cart path only in effect.
