In summary

TimberStone Golf Course is widely praised for its well-maintained greens, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, with many appreciating the scenic setting and enjoyable amenities such as the driving range and food options. However, some visitors feel the course is overpriced, especially given its remote location, and a few have experienced slow pace of play or dissatisfaction with the food truck offerings. Overall, it is considered a top-notch facility worth the visit for many golf enthusiasts.

This is a nice course but the price is out of line. For as far out of town as it is it isn’t worth the drive or money. I’ve played a lot of nicer courses for a lot less. Surprised by the marshal or ranger spending so much time getting signatures and phone numbers of the drivers of the carts, giving instructions and rules of golf and then say keep up the pace. We could have been on the next hole by the time he let us finally T off.

This golf course is very fun to play. The course is beautiful and not too many people playing on Monday. The staff is awesome and very nice to talk to. The front 9 and back 9 are a lot of interest because you get to play with amazing things to see while playing. Not too much water or sand but be careful on a few of the holes. The only thing I had trouble with were the greens. They were very, very fast. Perhaps I'm just not used to such fast greens. Anyways, I had a lot of fun playing and if I still lived in Idaho I would play here a lot.

The two locals I played with asked me to give TimberTone a bad review in order to keep people from finding out about it. Too late. Fun golf course with a lot of interesting holes. Pace of play was perfect and conditions were rock solid.

Awesome course! I played this course over the weekend, while visiting some family. The greens are pure and roll quick. The fairways are in pristine conditions, and the tee boxes are amazing! The cart is quick and provides an in-cart GPS, which is awesome. Staff is friendly, food is decent from the food truck, but the snack shop looked well stocked. The range when I went, was on grass, which is amazing! The only gripe I have is with the price of the course. Why is golf so expensive? Other than that, lovely course, highly recommend!

Great course that is well maintained. Greens were in great shape. The starter Chuck was very helpful. Tad, the head pro was great to chat with and he even let us into the fitting area to check it out.

Fun course to play. Great condition. Greens were smooth and fast, fairways were pure. Staff was nice, lunch was good, price is right. What’s not to like. Would play anytime I’m in the area.

Course well kept and pace of play was excellent but the mosquitoes were awful. Our entire group of 12 had dozens of bites each and they were swarming. Hopefully they can figure a way to decrease the population as it did make our 18 less enjoyable.

Friendly staff and clean carts. Nice range and putting greens. Golf course is in great shape and greens are smooth and roll true. They have a food trailer with good selection and good food.

Got on the course at 1008am. Playing as a single.Only guy in the timeslot to show up. So the starter held me up for 20 minutes until 3 other players showed up. Wound up a five hour round. Threw 90 dollars down the toilet. Won' t be back. Ever. There are much nicer courses in the Treasure Valley and when this course treated me poorly I just cannot justify playing here.

The golf course is top-notch. Best greens in Idaho in my opinion. What even makes Timberstone even better is the people who work in the pro shop and on the greens. They go out of their way to make your experience enjoyable even when you play bad golf which I do basically every time I tee it up. I also can’t say enough about how good the food is out there, It’s so good. The sunrise breakfast sandwich with sausage and egg, make sure you get the Hash brown on the side, is the tits. For lunch the burger is one of the best in the valley and the BLT with the croissant is freaking luscious. Their fri…
