Harvey’s Restaurant review: What a delicious breakfast! Everything was perfectly cooked and delivered efficiently. We were welcomed warmly and felt very cared for as well. Think home comfort rather than trendy. Beautiful winter view was a bonus. View is gorgeous no matter the season.

Had my first lesson with Jordan Cassel, the PGA head professional. Ive had some issues in the past with other coaches that shall remain nameless, so I went into the lesson hopeful but reserved. I was immedietly greeted by Jordan in the club house and Jordan greeted me and I could tell this was going to be a good day. I was given a token and went to warm up. The driving range was in very good condition with a variety of targets to hit and it was long enough to actually hit driver without worrying about hitting the ball out onto the road. Jordan then came out at our appointment time and we were…

BanBury doesn't have much elevation change or dogleg to it, but does have some sort of water skirting many of the holes. Being flat and straight makes it an easy course to walk. BanBury was in good shape when I played it. It was one of the higher priced courses in the area to play and I found others around much more interesting to play. The funnest shots on the course to me were... Trying to hook a driver over the ditch on 12 tee box. Trying to reach the green from the tee on 17. Numbers 2 an 18 have fun/scary second shots at the green if you get the opportunity.

Just stopped in for lunch. Nice little grill for a quick meal...good food and nice scenery. Update: Finally played the course. Great condition and greens were perfect and fairly fast. Tough pin placements today. Lots of water hazards but fairways are wide and in really good condition after the rain we just had. Easy course to walk. A bit pricey for this area….my only complaint

Banbury Golf Course is a must visit in the treasure valley. The track is challenging, especially from the further tees as there is a variety of water and vegetation hazards throughout the course, especially on the back 9. I’ve had the opportunity to work with the greens keeping staff here, and it’s apparent the club takes pride in managing the course, keeping it green and clean making for a beautiful golf experience.

Got to give it 4 5 stars (FWIW theres only 8 or 9 courses in the US that get true 5 stars). The pro shop guys were awesome in accommodating me with arriving for a late for tee time but I wanted time to warm up. They were able to move me back a few spots to allow me to hit a few warm up balls. The course it's self was in decent condition for the amount of rain received lately. It was neat seeing some US Open type rough at 3+ inches (some people complained but i thought it was neat and not as hard as TV makes it look). The fairways were still good with no plugged lies. The greens, with the added…
