Nice course with scenic views. The guy in the pro shop was friendly and gave us some pointers about the course. Would definitely play here again.

Wanted to stay at a different resort but they were booked. We had played golf there before and the course was great. So we booked Gerri the host was great. The rooms were very nice and clean. The golf was great and the meals also great. Gerri made sure everyone in our group was happy. She went out of her way to get what ever we needed. Will be going back soon.

I've gone here for a golf outing that has been going on for 31 years. The outing switched to Thunderhart about 4 years ago. It is the perfect spot for a big group. We rent out the entire hotel, get all meals included, and can walk to the clubhouse from the hotel parking lot. Plus there's a bar on site at the hotel. So much fun. The golf course is pretty challenging too. The greens are relatively small and some even have a turtle back shape to them. My family stayed at Thunderhart over Memorial Day weekend. We cannot say enough about how accommodating and gracious the staff were to us. They are very kind and attentive, always making sure our family - with grandparents down to children only four months old - had a great time. The food was great and the bar has a great old school vibe with sports on TV to enjoy in the evening. The course was in great shape and is challenging and well maintained.

The golf course is in the best shape I have ever seen it. The greens are in wonderful condition. The new owners have really improved the entire facility!

From the parking lot to the clubhouse a wonderful welcome Thunderhart is an absolute diamond in the beautiful Greene County New York state wonderful place to play golf challenging for all skill levels well-maintained absolutely fabulous staff wonderful friendly not to mention their sister course which is Sunny Hill golf resort one of the top 10 family destinations in Greene County in the Catskills New York I look forward to getting back to you and playing one of my favorite courses in the world thanks again for everything all the best slainte

Thunderhart is on of my favorite courses! The conditions are always nice, the staff is great, and the views are beautiful. Ignore the bad reviews by angry Group Golfers who can't find the time to use their vouchers within 10 months of purchasing. That is not the fault of the course. I buy Group Golfer vouchers, visit the course, buy lunch and drinks, and have a great time. I'm happy that this course participates in the program. Disgruntled expired "aunts" need to blame themselves for missing out. See you next week, Thunderhart!

I stayed at thunderhart for Memorial Day weekend 2025. What a lovely time we had. There was 14 of us ages six months to old. We were all on the same hallway. It was so much fun. All the rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. Views from the rooms on each side of the hall lovely. The food was especially good and special care was taken to have gluten-free options for some of our guests. They have a great golf course, and a wonderful lounge with a bar that was attached to where our rooms were. We all had such a nice time. We were so happy we could all be together. I booked a Stay and Play package for my husband’s birthday and what a great idea that was! Gerri was so nice, extremely helpful, and made sure all my questions were answered. When we arrived, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The golf course was in good condition and had amazing views. The room was very clean and spacious. The pool was nice and we also really enjoyed the lobby area where we played pool, darts, and foosball. Across the street there’s a driving range which was pretty cool. Our foursome had a great time at Thunderhart. Stayed over 2 nights, the hotel on grounds was clean and the staff were very friendly. Gerri and all went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and that's the best you can ask for. Course was challenging and well maintained. We'll be back.
