I called to get information about snowshoeing on the course. Kim, the Clubhouse Supervisor, was helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. She’s a great ambassador for the MetroParks! Kudos to Kim!

Had a fantastic round Yesterday 3/19/26. Cart guy was great. The Greens are super fast but well taken care of. 20$ for 9 holes is so damn good.

This course was so affordable, challenging and beautiful. It’s a gorgeous place with tough approaches and fast greens. Had a great day.

On a recent trip to Cleveland, I played at Canterbury and Sand Ridge. Sleepy Hollow is not in their league. HOWEVER...for what it is, I consider Sleepy Hollow to be an excellent choice for golf. There is a ton of movement in the land and that creates some really interesting shot variety. Besides that, and this may be the most important part of the review, it simply CANNOT be beat for the price. It is one of the best values for golf you can find anywhere. The ladies in the pro shop were pretty fantastic too!

Loved the course - well maintained! Had the first tee time of the day at 6a. 3 cars in the parking lot - by 6:04a we started getting hassled that we were behind and needed to tee off. We couldn’t even hit many approaches as they were still cutting and mowing the greens - and yet the starter was hassling us to play faster! No drinkable water on the course. Only outhouses. I’d go with Manakiki.

For fall conditions.... Course is in great shape. Greens, tee boxes and fairways really good shape.

Best Cleveland Metro Parks golf course. Great team shop and the course is well maintained. There’s a full driving range also. There’s a hall that will most likely be hosting a wedding on the weekends. The golf pro is excellent.

This was my first time playing this course. Great course and beautiful scenery. However, there was a staff member on the course who was super rude. I believe it was a starter or range guy that was hounding us to play faster even though there were people in front of us. I have never ever experienced this before and was very displeased by this guy. He even told my group that, “maybe you all shouldn’t be playing this course”. Ridiculous comment for someone who works at a public golf course.

My son and I are from Canada and we played 9 holes last year during our baseball trip and we were so impressed we scheduled 18 holes last Friday morning before our Cleveland Guardians game. I am 76 years and my son is 43 and a single digit handicap. We have played many great courses in Canada and US including Bethpage Black and Sleepy Hollow Golf Course is truly in the top echelon of golf courses. Beautiful natural setting, great terrain changes and so peaceful and enjoyable to play although it is very challenging, especially the greens which are sloped, fast and well protected. The greens an…

The course is extremely well kept and features scenic views throughout the round. Both sides feature challenging holes including blind shots, water and bunkers nestled near the greens. The greens can be quick and require you to hit well placed shots. Great selection of food and drinks as well.

One of the best “public access” courses you will find anywhere in the country (hence the ranking as 14th best municipal course in US). Played yesterday - conditions were superb, greens perfect and played the round right at 4 hours. Add in the friendly server running the snack bar and the amazing bargain of $35 senior rate as icing on the cake. We NE Ohioans are lucky to have such a great course to enjoy
