The greens are amazing..I couldn't believe how well maintained they are. Staff is great and very accommodating. Tough litte track, I highly recommend playing a round there.

This is a friendly little par 3 course. It's well groomed and very plush. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to play as nobody was there when I showed up (during the listed business hours). It's a small place that allows an honor system to just put some money in a box to pay your green fee. I was visiting from out of town and needed to rent clubs otherwise I would have been ok to just walk on.

Fun track with interesting elevation changes. They have redone the course recently and it played really well. We took advantage of the replay and played the mini golf after which was also fantastic.

Love this place. If you have any kind of short game you can do well here. If you don't have a short game come here to get one. You have to be accurate and you need finesse around the greens. Both essential components of a complete golf game. Great place for beginners also. Very friendly owners Good for a relaxing round

I played Sandy Pond on Tuesday 6/23 first time in ten years. What makes this course a lot of fun was the laid back atmosphere with the guys working there but all the other golfers. We were able to play 9 and decided we where having so much fun we went and played 9 again. Perfect little course for your iron work and chipping and putting. Essential skills when you play on a big course. Everyone was just so nice I would definetly recommend this course if you feel like working out kinks or just want to have fun for a day.

Nice little 9 hole par 3 course, greens in good shape, temporary tees over winter to build up normal tee boxes. Fun to play, longest hole is 153 yards. Some traps, a little water, not usually crowded. In season closed Monday & Tuesday mornings for ladies league play. Great place to work on short iron game and putting, some greens have considerable slope. Hand carts available, self-service honor system when pro shop is closed. I come here a lot to escape the crowded golf courses and play short irons. Affordable too.

Very disappointed in this course. I have played golf for the last 10 years at golf courses across Long Island and have never experienced staff that was this rude and condescending. I went with some friends that are new to golf, thinking a par 3 course would be a great introduction. We played scramble and by the 2nd hole, staff came charging towards us, aggressively telling us that we are not allowed to do that here and would not give any reason. For the rest of our time at sandy pond, we sporadically found that same staff member staring/following us from behind bushes, which made all of us unc…

Loved this place. Great for beginners. Par 3 course. Easy to walk. They can rent out a hand cart if you need one. Not someplace to go if you're in a rush to finish.
