Good layout. We had fun but a few greens were a bit bumpy. 18 hole par 6 was unique.

I been playing this course for 12 years and. I never had any problems with how the golf course is set up. Lash rough and slow greens. You could loose your ball when you end up in the rough. Yesterday, a new ranger was arrogantly mocking all the golfers for slow play. He said they are gonna have to make us find another golf course next time we hold our outing. We started at 12 pm and finished around 5;00 pm. 5 hours but the greens are slow and the rough was thick that it’s hard to find your ball and it’s hard to come out. I guess the ranger was too zealous about phase of play when they made the…

Love this place. Especially the links. I'm a terrible golfer so it's perfect (wide open, not much heavy rough). If you stink like me play the links. If you prefer a challenge, play the woods. Place is pretty well kept. People are nice. But aerated greens a fast and bumpy in late summer/early fall. Still great for a public course.

Cherry creek is in immaculate condition. Fairways and greens look amazing. Bunkers were nicely raked and smooth. Some long 5's and dogleg 4's. Often breezy conditions make it more challenging then it looks. Great spot.

This is a first rate golf course. It's one of the best maintained public courses on the North Fork. Friendly pro shop always has a joke to tell with a super friendly starter. They made some improvements by clearing evasive plants around some of the water areas. Though this course is wide open it can fool you. When the rough is high this course can be quite challenging. Greens are very consistent and well maintained.

Wonderful course. Fairways took a little beating from the really hot and humid week we recently endured. People are friendly, fairways are long, but fair, greens and tees are in great shape, and the countless flowers on the course and by the parking lot and clubhouse are simply amazing. One of my favorite public courses on Long Island. OK...not including Bethpage Black, which I can't play anyway.

Beautiful Property and layout, unfortunately the place is not well maintained at least at this point in the season. The grass is simply too long, the fairway plays like rough and the actual rough you can just forget about because you will never find your ball. This slows down pace of play and provides a frustrating experience. Get this place properly mowed and its a 5 star golf course.

Nice golf course. Fairways were in great shape greens were true. Only criticism I would have is the rough was too tall. 3-5 yards off the fairway lead to a long search even when you saw about where the ball landed. Shorter rough would also fix pace of play. Would still definitely play here again.

Course needs some TLC in areas. Some bare spots around greens. Should be in better shape for the price.

Well kept greens for the most part, wish the fairways were a little shorter but generally a well maintained great course!

Pace of play was almost unplayable. In all of my years playing golf I have never seen something this bad, and it was a MONDAY. The rough is 4 feet deep crabgrass also. One thing I will say, which earned my 2 stars was the people working there were very very nice. Other than that, there wasn’t any positives.
