Indian Island Country Club

The course is laid out like Links and difficult enough for most players. Bunkers are placed nicely and the greens are challenging. The fairways are tight and well kept. Not many ball cleaner stations and no markers for yardage that I could see. Overall a very place to play a round of golf. Beautiful location for a golf course. Bay water views with boats passing by. Theres also a nice driving range and putting greens.

Played on a Monday morning. (7:40am) Pace was great. Not rushed. Pretty well taken care of fairway and greens. Beautiful course. Has a range. Restaurant was really good. Played terrible but very enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Great driving range! Also its on the water so guess what its so pretty Went to the bar, the staff is great , they work there but off for great service, heard and looked like the food was top notch with anything from a 9 dollar burger and fries to a 33 dollar lamb dish hat I Totaly heard was worth it Cocktails we're on point Beer is always cold and served fast Wine is fine for this type of place, meaning no 20 doallr glasses that I saw Oh the veiws are insane

The view is beautiful. Greens are slow enough to make good putting.

I usually play this course 3 times a year. Just played today and it is in bad shape. Fairways, tee boxes, and rough are all bad. Greens are good and fast. This course in the past was the best of Suffolk County golf courses, but now it is the worst.

Love this course. Grounds pretty good for a public course and the views are awesome. Wind definetly a factor as you are by the water.

County course that is very well kept. Played on labor day weekend and was superb.

“Blue Collar Billy” (William Mitchell) laid out a great track! Really good front 9 (old back 9) that includes a superb swing around the bay on holes 4,5&6. Hurricane Sandy began the clearing and the crew at Indian have continued to make that stretch really good! Poor Man’s Pebble par-3 5th and hole 6 are good, but, EXCELLENT from the tips. Old white tee now blue on 7, also plays better from there. If your a 15 or less, playing the back is so worth the 150 yards or so of difference. Hole 1 is still going to play 450 no matter what! Great public golf course. Its always in good condition, and the price with a Suffolk County Green Card makes the round even more enjoyable !!
