In summary

Pleasant Hill Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and the variety offered by its 27-hole layout, making it a convenient choice for a quick round. Many enjoy the open and scenic setting, although some areas of the course, particularly the greens and cart paths, have been noted as needing maintenance. While some visitors have had positive experiences with the course conditions, others have expressed concerns about overgrown fairways and inconsistent upkeep, impacting the overall playability.

It is hard for me to articulate the incredible relationship myself and family have had with Pleasant Hill, but I will try anyways: I first started playing golf my freshman year of high school, with hopes of making the team the following year. Pleasant Hill was the first place I went due to the wide, but long, holes and challenging greens/ putting scenarios. Since that first time playing with four buds, I've been coming to the course almost daily. I enjoy walking with my brother, or carting with friends and family, and each 9 poses a unique challenge. I hope I can play Pleasant Hill for years m…

The new owners recognize the needs of the course and openly talk with you about the improvements they plan. The nicest things they plan is the return the fairways to more grass than weeds, repair all of the cart paths, and repair all of the greens so they don't have large dead spots. Over then next two years I expect to see a marked improvement in these areas and some other areas.

Booked a last minute hot deal through GolfNow for Labor Day the nigh before; did not have high expectations. But the course staff asked us right away what time we were, got us checked in and even pushed us ahead of a scramble so we could have a decent play pace. The course is very simple but in good enough condition and unique. I like the old school vibe. I do recommend getting better tee markers

Played here for the first time a few weeks ago. It's got some fairly short holes and slower greens. Some holes are in better shape than others, but for the price you can't beat it! If I lived closer and wanted to get out for a quick 9, this is the place to be.

Nice and friendly staff. Course not in the best shape. Overbooked on Saturday morning, played the first 9 in an hour and 20 min. Back 9 took nearly 3 hours because 9 hole players were starting their round and causing a backup to players making the turn. I understand squeezing people in but there were 4 groups on hole 11.

We were very disappointed, the fairway was so long that we had to search hard for each ball and it felt like it was in the rough the entire time, the green was burnt out and diveted. We lost easily 10 balls just in what was supposed to be the fairway. The course was plainly put unplayable. We ran across another group whom also said they would never be back. The only plus side was the staff.

Safe to say my friends and I were a little disappointed with our experience at Pleasant Hills. The course is in some serious need of maintenance on the cart paths. Grass was burnt out in numerous spots and rough was very thick. Course is pretty open and a nice layout. Round was not worth $42 and hope some improvements are made soon

Course was big and open and very green. For the most part it was taken care of very nice however some of the greens were not in the best shape and it was hard to find a spot to tee off in a majority of the tee boxes due to disrepair. Hot dogs in the clubhouse were very good and it was a fun time.

Much better shape compared to many of the courses around. Everything was in really good shape for rhe weather we've had. Lots of fun today!

Excellent course. The course is in great shape. The people are awesome. The fees are reasonable. All in all a 10/10. We'll be back. With 27 holes, there's always a route to play 18 in less than 4 hours. The greens are pretty rough this September (2024).

Friendliest staff at any course in the area. With 27 holes it is a great place to get in 9 holes after work without waiting for leagues.

Nice course, their food and service are excellent. My employer has their annual golf outing here every year. I always look forward to it.
