What People Say

In summary

Berkshire Hills Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly staff, challenging layout, and scenic setting, with some visitors noting improvements under new ownership. The course is also known for its festive Christmas light display, which receives high praise. However, several golfers express concerns about the condition of the greens and fairways, citing issues with maintenance and course management.

These were the greens. This is not a $43 course nor a $33 course after 2pm. They over booked the course and half the fairways were dirt. They have gone down hill in quality year after year and at this point I will never return. You can get a WAY better golf experience right across the street at Fowler’s Mill. No I am not getting paid to say that. It’s just the truth.

Really nice Christmas light display. And great people. Note: No lines at 6pm on a Thursday.

Great idea. Lights were beautiful and love how the music played with them. One of the nicest Santa's. He took his time telling how his elves made the toys the kids wanted. Would highly recommend

I am truly grateful to the owners of Berkshire golf course for transforming it into Bethlehem Hills for Christmas. the lighting throughout the golf course was extremely well done. The theme of the display was Jesus the Savior was born. we could drive slowly and enjoy ourselves. I hope they do it again next year so that I can go through it again. If you haven't gone hurry and get there this year. Truly Christ was magnified.

We went for the light display and got $5off just for saying merry christmas! It was wonderful! Line was medium long driving in but over all great. There were a few light displays that had gone out at the end of the course that im certain they were unaware of.. But great company we wouldve stayed for hot chocolate and picked out a tree if my individual didnt already have one. Again great service!

I played this course while visiting Cleveland and I really enjoyed it. The course could use some love, particularly the cart paths, but otherwise it felt like a fun straight forward course. The fairways are very forgiving and you really have to try if you want to lose your ball.

Always liked the course and layout very challenging and good looking holes, staff is good but the greens on this course are a joke. Not sure if it's much better then putting in your backyard.... Almost every green has mud or dirt on it. Around Cleveland for the money so many better options also almost every hole was covered with trash I will not be returning.

I gave it two stars because the property and layout is great, but conditions are putrid. The greens are basically fairways, the spots that weren’t dirt at least. They should not be charging people full rates if they are going to let it go like this. They hadn’t even cut the greens for at least 3-4 days. I’ve never seen something so bad. Unputtable. I was going to ask for a refund, but no one was on the course so I just finished up in less than 4 hours. If there was even a hint of slow pace of play I would have left after the 3rd hole. Any serious golfer or semi serious, STAY AWAY.

I love the course layout, however, the last time I played her the condition was not very good. The greens were fuzzy and bumpy and the tee boxes were torn up. In addition, they did not do a good job with scheduling. We had a two some and it was well over a 5 hour round.

The staff is very friendly And attentive to customers. The course is in great shape. Stay in the Fairway to have a great shot for the flag the rough is not too high either. The first whole is very challenging from the orange and blue tees.

We went for the inagural Bethlehelm Lights and our kiddos loved it. I do think $25 is a little steep as its not easy to really stop and stay a while - maybe a discounted option next year for a second cheaper visit as the $10 off christmas tree at your stand is not a big savings.
