What People Say

In summary

Pehquenakonck Country Club is appreciated for its friendly and welcoming staff, charming small-town atmosphere, and well-maintained greens, making it a pleasant spot for both newcomers and seasoned golfers. The course is noted for its challenging layout with elevation changes and unique features, though some find the need to hit across a busy road concerning. While the course offers good value for money, a few visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with maintenance issues and inconsistent pricing.

Had to opportunity to play 9 holes here at Pehquenakonck Country Club with three of my good friends and our expectations were exceeded! The only thing that overshadowed this beautiful course was Debbie herself! She was the sweetest, friendliest host that made our experience that much better. Her service alone will get this 4 handicap back here in no time!

As newcomers to the game of golf we appreciate when courses and clubs make us feel welcome. This club does that and more. Think of it as a kind of “Cheers”with a nine hole golf course! On the weekends make sure you say hi to Lena and Debbie great club hostesses! And the ever present Linda who watches over everyone.

Nice affordable 9 hole place to practice. Go around twice for 18. Nice staff. Not busy so you can take your time. Some bare spots and some sections of fairways are roped off but no worries.

This place is terrible. It ended up being $41 per person even though online it said $27. On top of that, after we were charged we were told that the fairways aren’t open today because the course was a mud pit. It is so poorly maintained, me and my friends were covered in mud. What is the point of playing golf if you can’t hit the ball in the fairway??? Later in the round an old lady came over and yelled at us because our cart got stuck in the poorly maintained muddy grass. DO NOT waste your money on this terrible course. There are many better options near by.

Considering the 3 days of rain we've had this summer, the crew here has put their talent on full display presenting the community with an above average 9 hole course that is in fantastic shape. The greens are healthy and receptive and roll very well. The attendants are hospitable and kind and the members are always ready to provide some insight on shot selection. This 7 handicap will be back. Well done folks! Go play if you have a bit of time to spare!

A surprising Jen. You think it would be easy but it's very challenging. Small greens hard to see doglegs and hilly greens. Fast play and very good shape. Staff is pleasant. Just did nine holes but a great time.

Awesome place to play a round of golf. Unique in many ways. You need more than just your clubs in the bag to score well here. You need to have the shots as well. Staff are beyond friendly and the club members are just as friendly.

Classic golf club. It's not fancy, it serves basic burgers and hot dogs, but it's cheap and a nice day out. While it's not fancy or super nice in some areas the main reason it gets a 4 is because it's exactly what it says it is and it's priced for what it offers. The people are friendly and it feels like a small town course.

Layout of the course is absolutely insane hilly and you hit over a road 4 times with cars driving by constantly would not recommend to anybody who isn't a expert golfer

We think Pehquenakonck is charming. The people could not be friendlier. The course has some elevation changes which we enjoyed. Looking forward to our next visit!
