In summary

Ridgefield Golf Course is frequently praised for its well-maintained greens, challenging layout, and beautiful setting, making it a favorite among many golfers. The clubhouse restaurant, O'Deen's, is also highlighted for its quality food and friendly service. However, several visitors have expressed concerns about the staff, particularly the rangers, who are perceived as overly strict and unfriendly, leading to a less welcoming atmosphere for some players.

IYKYK This course is a lot of fun to play and the restaurant is on par with the fun I had on the course!!! Sophia+Victoria and the rest of the team in ODEEN’S raise the bar for a clubhouse restaurant. No cap

This is one of my favorite public courses. Challenging. Very well maintained. Beautiful greens in practically perfect shape. Every hole has its own character. Very unique. A beautiful walk. The food at the club house is great as well. All the employees are super friendly. I love this place and wish I were able to play there more often. Well done.

Only played once but will be again in a few days. I have to say to the poor reviewers, don't complain about being pushed by Rangers and five plus hour rounds. Seems a bit of a contradiction don't you think. It's simple: keep up with the group in front of you... Update: Very full on weekend. Maybe over booked. Very well managed, staff were polite and personable!

Course was in great shape for how dry it's been. Pace of play was great. The greens however were very inconsistent in speed from one to the next. Met some very nice gentlemen who made the day very nice. The beer after the round was delicious. Cant wait for my next round. Hope its before the season ends.

Far and away the most unpleasant staff in golf. Starters and rangers are some of the most elderly and angry. They will stalk you as you play. Course is in good shape tho

I cannot get conscious get this course a good rating. Yes it is well-maintained and provides a nice challenge however it has the worst possible staff that makes golf unwelcoming and has a “shrink the game” atmosphere. If you are under 30 prepare to be judged and treated with disrespect for no reason other than misjudgment. This is the only course that I have been followed by marshalls while just trying to play. I have played this course over five times hoping for a better experience yet one has never came. There is much nicer and friendlier course just 30 minutes away for the same price as RGC…

The course is in spectacular shape and has a super friendly, customer focused staff. Almost didn't post this as the only drawback is that it's harder to get good tee times since it is so busy.

Great value for money, despite the dry weather making the greens extra fast!

This course is decent but the staff was rude and untenable. The ranger followed our 4-some around the course and was stalking and harassing us almost the entire round. The score card indicates that we should play our round in 4 hours and 20 minutes. We finished in 4 hours and 15 minutes but I guess that wasn’t good enough. The carts were to stay on the cart paths so that slowed us down a bit but we still finished 5 minutes early. They also have the nerve to tell you how to wear your hat! Snooty!! Not going back anytime soon.

One of the best public courses in the area. Course maintenance is above average and despite heavy play, the staff does nice job keeping the greens in good shape. Reasonable rates and pace of play has never been an issue for me.

This is one of the nicest public course I play, all the people that work there are also very nice. But cant understand why its not cool upstairs in the bar and restaurant upstairs? Even the employee that work in the resturaunt complain its very hot all the time. When you come off the course and want to grab a beer and cool down, you would expect it would be cool inside.
