Old Oakland Golf Club

We wanted to play 18 holes and pay the guest fee to join the membership, but Sarah said only 2 people could play. This is absolutely ridiculous. We are two families playing at several private golf courses to join the membership, and other private courses have no problem with 4 people playing. Old Oakland Sarah is so rude. Even though we paid the $110 guest fee for 4 people to play golf, Sarah said only 2 people could play. We are still members of the same golf course. Does this make sense that 4 people can't play on the same day and at the same time if we are transferring our membership? Sarah…

Fantastic, friendly service. Course is in top tier condition, fun and challenging. Carts had shot distance tracking to holes.

Fantastic golf club. The staff is what makes the club so incredible. Very nice and hard working! The golf course strikes a perfect balance between difficulty and enjoyment for all ability levels. No other club in Indianapolis has a better practice facility to work on your game than Old Oakland. One of the best parts of the golf club is the fact that it has 27 holes. You never have to worry about getting a favorable tee time. Probably the best greens in the area. The clubhouse food is VERY tasty. If you are thinking of joining a club, I'd highly recommend scheduling a tour at Old Oakland.

Great Course with three very different sets of 9 holes, great staff and good food. Fees are much lower than other country clubs on the north side. It is well kept up and improving annually. Only complaint is that they do not have a men’s club, you need to find your own clique.

Former member when my kids played for their high school team. Then, the support for the team was minimal as a home course, but understandable since it is a private course. We really miss being members but it's just not cost effective, typical base membership plus monthly restaurant fee and add-on for juniors. Management and staff has changed since then but driving by they seemed very busy at the onset of this season but notably saw a lot of senior men and zero women on the course on a Saturday maybe there was a league. I’ve been a member since 2009. What a great golf course. Great availability of tee times. There’s 27 holes which provides great flexibility in getting on the course and mixing up your rounds. The course has gone through a multi million dollar renovation. Simply world class. Membership cost is the best value in Indy. If you’re looking for a golf course, this is the one.

Very challenging layout , course in great condition, green were fast , course has 3. Nine hole layouts we played best ball with two groups. My group had 3 70 plus players and one younger we played +2 other group was made up of 20s thru 30s they shot even par. Great day you get an invite take it, you will 😉 enjoy. Jf.

I've been a member for a year now and its one of the best decisions I've made. The staff is excellent, the building facilities are top notch, the course is always in great shape, and you can always get a tee time. Best of all, they have mens groups for both low handicaps and the higher ones.

I have been a member of Old Oakland golf club for the last 22 years. I have been extremely satisfied with my membership experience. The new owners have made tremendous improvement in the club. The club offers an excellent an excellent 27 holes of golf course. Administration and staff is extremely helpful. I will wholeheartedly recommend this golf course .

The Mid Am State Championship is held at this golf course this year. I always get a practice round in the weekend before as I usually have never played the course. I called in a couple weeks ago to get a tee time for a practice round and was told to call in today 8-5-2024 for tee time for this weekend per Ricky. I called today and Ricky let me know it is a member course and he will not be able to get me in Saturday or Sunday. Old Oakland is great private golf course with 27 challenging and well maintained holes, practice facilities and friendly, helpful staff. The dining room and bar are currently being expanded, with workout facilities being added. The club has a relaxed, casual atmosphere and is a solid value for members who love golf.
