In summary

Ironwood Golf Club is appreciated for its well-maintained 27-hole layout, offering a variety of challenges suitable for different skill levels, and featuring scenic landscaping with wood sculptures. The staff is generally described as friendly and helpful, and the clubhouse amenities are well-regarded. However, some visitors have noted issues with the driving range, occasional course maintenance, and inconsistent staff interactions, while others feel the pricing is somewhat high compared to similar courses in the area.

Popular, well run course in southeastern Hamilton County. It's a 27 hole course and well maintained. Plenty of water and variable terrain to challenge all golfers. The clubhouse is nice and the snack bar is pretty nice overall. I have no real complaints about the course but it can be a challenge to find if there's road construction in the area.

I walked into the golf shop today to buy an item- a few golf balls. Upon walking in the shop there was a middle-aged Caucasian lady standing there with blonde hair in a ponytail (late 40s early 50s). I greeted her and asked for an item. She looked me directly in the eyes and did not respond. I repeated myself as sometimes people can't hear you and she just looked directly at me and again no response. I thought she was having a bad day. There was a couple who walked in right after me and she became ecstatic and chatty. Very rude and unacceptable. Super rude. I can't believe she would behave thi…

This course is fun and usually in really good condition. They’re always helpful in getting us a tee time but really the only downfall lately has been the driving range. It’s mats only (always) and the balls are so old. I’ve been playing here for years and I don’t think the range balls have ever been replaced… it would also be nice to have a range membership option like other courses in the area but currently this one does not.

Fun interesting course with nice landscape. Pace of play was good on a Friday afternoon. Price to ride 18 was also solid. I'll definitely play here again.

Lakes 9 was a 5-Star track for condition, value and location … can’t wait to come back and play it again! Greens were frozen (not their fault), which made for some interesting club selection 😂 3-Stars for the “non-golf” experience, mainly from no notice during website booking process that tee boxes were closed (had to play from sloped heavy rough on edges) and the guy in the shop was transactional and not friendly. Would definitely come back 👍🏼

disappointed in Ironwood. The course is poorly maintained. No attention to details like trimming around sign posts and steps. Those are basic areas to have look good. So many fairways have dead or overly wet areas. why are there strips of harvested or stripped out grass on a few tees? My wife and I played nine holes today for $39 each. Mowers out at 11am and don't shut down or move away while you tee or putt. Come-on for that price the course should be better. Not coming back.

I recently moved to the area and decided to check out the local course. I tried calling the pro shop 3–4 times on a beautiful Monday evening, but no one answered. Hoping for the best, I decided to drive up and see if I could get a round in. When I arrived, I found three staff members inside, all on their phones — it was pretty clear my calls were being ignored. When I asked if I could play, I was told the course was closed for their men’s league, which apparently shuts down the entire course on Mondays and Thursdays. Unfortunately, this information was nowhere to be found on their website or…

Overall a great golf experience. Driving range is a little out-dated but at least it's there, and the ball machine is modern and convenient! Course is in excellent shape for the time of year (played on 11/5/2024) and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great variety of holes with 3 different 9 hole courses - I'll be back to try the 9 holes that I haven't played yet!

I play Ironwood every week with my company's golf league. The 3 9-hole courses offer something for all skill levels. The course is also adorned with beautiful landscaping and wood sculptures made from trees that were previously cut down.

Really nice course. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were fast and had a lot of curve. My only complaint is the tee boxes. They were pretty bad on a few holes. That also falls on us golfers as well though. If you're given the stuff to put in your divots on your cart use them people. So many divots on the tee boxes and fairways that players didn't fill. We have to help keep these nice courses nice so do your part also. But 3 very nice 9 hole layouts.
