In summary

Gray Eagle Golf Club receives mixed feedback from visitors. Many appreciate the challenging course layout and well-maintained fairways, as well as the friendly staff and peaceful setting. However, there are recurring criticisms about the course's ongoing construction, inconsistent maintenance of certain areas, and issues with customer service and management. Some visitors also express concerns about the pricing relative to the course's condition.

Probably the worst course I have ever golfed on. The staff is outright rude, to not just me but anybody that looks younger. I was falsely accused and kicked off for something I did not outright do. The reasoning, “I deal with kids like you all the time.” He proceeded to not hear me out simply because I was young. Course is not near nice enough to be treating the customers like this. It is a dog track. Can barely putt and fairways and tee boxes have divots everywhere. Clearly no maintenance by the staff even though they want to treat the course like royalty.

Fairways and greens are decent, the rest is a travesty for $60+ for a round. Bunkers aren’t playable due to standing water. Overall just a crappy feel to a course that used to be nice. Another place where money is obviously superior to all else…hence the construction. Being in construction myself it’s an absolute joke on both the owners and contractors part that the course is still in this condition after years. Will happily take my money elsewhere and would recommend for everyone else to do the same. Crappy course, crappy maintenance, and overpriced.

I really like Craig golf course but they could keep the fairways and greens a little nicer but it’s pretty good for the price except for weekends but if you’re booking on like a Friday, it’s a good weekend Price

Let me start by saying I’ve read a lot of the reviews and they often mention rude employees or odd encounters. My experience was great from start to finish. Showed up an hour early for my 9:30AM tee time on Friday as a single. The pro shop employee was very friendly and informative since it was my first time here, he gave me directions to the range and the first tee, let me know my cart number and provided a receipt for the starter. He mentioned I would be paired with a group, no problem! I pulled up to the first tee around 9:15 and the starter let me go out early on my own (he gave me the op…

The only thing making this a two star course is that their covered driving range stalls are half decent and they have a pretty decent chipping green. Outside of that, the course has only gotten worse and worse. The driving range is maintained terribly and well as many holes. The course has been "under construction" for what seems to be years now.. yet no construction has taken place. Take your golf elsewhere in Indiana, the quality for the price is awful.

The course is in pretty good shape. The place is under renovations. The parking lot is a little congested but not a problem. It's a challenging but fun course.

I really enjoy playing this course, it’s got some really fun holes that are challenging and most of the course is sort of back in a nice quiet and peaceful area. Also they take really good care of it. There’s also a nice driving range (grass) and chipping and putting area. Staff seems to keep it moving well so that it doesn’t get as backed up as other local courses.

I went in the single nice day in February, can’t book a single online. I call—“just come in and you can go out”. So that’s what I do, cashier is not at the front desk but at a snack bar register in the back and just didn’t call us over after we waited for like 10 minutes. I go to pay, tried to tell me they’re booked up. I pushed back and he made one appear for me. I go out to the tee box and there are so many 2 and 3 somes out I find it insane I couldn’t book earlier. Pretty poor managing of the tee sheet in my opinion, and customer service was not helpful or friendly Course is fine but I d…

Course was in decent shape… pretty standard track. Management was horrible. My twosome got paired with another 2 people (which is fine… busy weekend). After hole 5 we were told “you’re too slow” (1:05 thru 5 holes… which isn’t speedy, but it’s on pace to my knowledge). We told the ranger we’d happily play as a twosome, and we’d be plenty fast to catch up. He was adamant that he wanted a twosome from behind us to skip a hole to pass us (and wanted us left as a foursome). We went as a twosome anyway, and ended up waiting for the group he let pass us on each hole. Finished in 3:30… but only after…

Charging $63 to play this course in the condition it's in is a travesty. The tee boxes and fairways don't appear to have been cut since last fall. The clubhouse is in such a state of disrepair that there's a hole in the ceiling with insulation hanging down. It's dingy and dark and clearly hasn't been maintained. The greens are riddled with ball marks and appear no one ever repairs them. I know this isn't the golf course's fault but it sure left a negative impression. The railroad ties used to build steps to the tee boxes are rotted out and a safety hazard. Two or three bridges over creeks have…

Grey Eagle is hands down the worst course in Indiana. The service is horrendous. Instead of putting money into the course they try to build a top golf type of place that has been under construction for years. I will never play here again. Tried to get a rain check one day after playing 9 sopping wet holes and they wouldn’t even give me that. They would have made more money off me by letting me come back to buy a $25 six pack of miller lite again. The place just sucks.

The course was in pretty good shape minus the greens. There were far too many holes on greens to make accurate putts. In top of this, I was driving the golf cart in the rough, and a gentleman in an F150 drove to me and said I was an idiot for driving there. Was the most rude person and I have never been talked down to like this before. Ruined my day on course. So I can't drive on rough but the F150 on fairways and rough is okay? This guy just made my outing terrible, on the one day I don't have work or kids to worry about. Thanks
