In summary

Marywood Golf Club is frequently praised for its well-maintained course, beautiful layout, and friendly staff, making it a valued destination for many golfers. The course is described as challenging yet enjoyable, with good amenities and reasonable pricing. However, some visitors have experienced issues with slow pace of play, large groups causing delays, and inconsistent customer service, which have affected their overall experience.

Remember folks if you're using a coupon at Marywood you have to actually print the coupon and have one for each of the two people in your group. It was really petty, no accommodation offered. It is cost them a lot in the beer we would have bought

Played for first time today with a party of two. The tee times for a Wednesday were pretty packed and we felt rushed, and had to wait on huge group of 16 ahead of us when rules clearly state no party bigger than 4. Lawn care person ran over my ball on first hole and could not find, when I asked if I could reshoot the hole at the end of there was time I was given a short answer by lady in pro shop that we could not do that. Overall nice course to play just wish they would space people out more and be a little less rude with customer service.

Would not play here again if you paid me. Paid for 18 holes got kicked off at the turn saying we were slow. Kept the pase of play. Then I wanted a refund and the grumpy manager tried to give me weekend coupons. The manager is more worried about getting out at 5pm and using it as his personal club house. Him and his friends just sit by the main entrance and smoke like chimneys. Would give zero stars if I could.

I played here on 9/5/25 with a 1:30pm tee time. I was very pleased with this course. Friendly staff, maintained greens and tee boxes, and just enough challenge for my skill level. I bought a logo ball for my display case. Excited to come back here!

I've been going here for 30+ years and it's still a great Golf Course. Very well maintained and friendly staff. The front nine is more open but still beautiful but my favorite 9 in Michigan is the Back 9, it's Challenging but is laid out beautifully. Highly recommended...

Course was challenging and in great shape. Gentlemen that was working today was very grumpy and let people go before their tee times. Was being pushed by a foursome that seemed yo be playing a scramble. And we had nowhere to go with a foursome in front of us. Sand bunkers were more mud and gravel but the course was set up nicely. Not sure why we needed a tee time, the way the guy ran it today.

Maywood is always a phenomenal course to play! It's certainly a hidden gem here in Southern Michigan. The course is always maintained very well, the staff is always friendly, and they have the best hot dogs in the state waiting at the turn! I own a product development company in the golf industry, and I'll definitely be reaching out to the course about possibly stocking our items!

Can't say enough about Marywood golf course . The course has been very well kept up period and getting better every year. The staff is very helpful. Must make tea times to play and they do have late nights, so make sure you call

This used to be a decent course but now they allow large groups with 3 and 4 carts of people so there is a 30 minute wait at each tee box. I paid for 18 holes and gave up after it took 4 hours to play 11 holes

Went golfing, was literally YELLED at by the ranger to leave as we were on the 18th hole. We stopped to let smaller/faster groups through and for rain to lighten up. Not yelled at for rain, but that we were “taking too long”. Poor experience, no one hole coupon, nothing. Ended on a poor note.
