In summary

Bedford Valley Golf Course is widely appreciated for its beautiful layout, well-maintained greens, and challenging yet enjoyable holes. Many visitors commend the courteous staff and the comprehensive facilities, including a driving range and putting green. However, some golfers have experienced issues with pace of play and service, particularly during busy times, and there are occasional concerns about bunker conditions and pricing policies.

Very nice course, easy access driving range and putting green to warm up. The facilities are well maintained and provide professional and courteous service.

The fairways and greens were in really good shape, the greens were fast and rolled out nicely. The pace of play on a Saturday afternoon was pretty good too. The bunkers could have been better (the reason for 4/5 stars), most were hard as a rock and had little pebbles in them.

Great course with a nice clubhouse. The groups move nice with rangers keeping an eye. If you tee off early, the first hole is into the sun. Greens roll relatively true. Overall, highly recommend.

Gull Lake View Golf Club and Resort has been owned and operated by the Scott family for over 50 years. Every day, four generations of Scotts go to work at the resort in one capacity or another. There were no big-name golf course architects called in to build the golf courses; no Tom Fazio, no Pete Dye, no Ron Garl. Gull Lake View is a did-it-themselves golf resort. Except for Bedford Valley – which was purchased by the Scott family in 1988 and with a little help from Tom Doak’s Renaissance Golf Design on Stoatin Brae - the golf courses were designed and built by the Scotts. Renaissance helped…

One of the best courses in Battle Creek. It's part of the Scott family's 6 courses in Southwest Michigan. Stotain Brea being their premier course. All are great courses and it's a fantastic resort destination with accommodations for your golf group.

Played it after it rained all night and it was not closed, probably should have been or at least delayed. Water all over the course nearly unplayable. Lots of disease on the fairways. My least favorite of the Gull Lake View resort courses we played.

Super solid, greens were in great shape, which to me make a course decent or not. Both the front and back 9 finishing holes were severe dogleg left, doesn't fit my game or eye at all. Playing a 400 yard hole having to shape a drive or force 215/185 shots kinda annoying.

Played 9, made the turn and asked to play the back 9 for the difference of the 18 hole rate. The computer wouldn’t let them so I ended up playing 18 at a higher rate than you would think possible given their rates, and on a slow afternoon.

Great course and in good shape. Played this course on our last day of a golf trip after playing Stonehedge and gull lake days prior. Pace of play was a little slow due to groups in front of us, but still overall good time.

It's a decent track that's off set by bad pace of play issues and a lack of service. Definitely wouldn't play it again. There is zero cart service on the course. The bar area is not set up for golfers to grab stuff on the turn (weekend, mid day, very busy). They prioritize the people already in the bar so have already finished playing. Had to make the turn without so much a hot dog or water after waiting 15 minutes in the bar for the bartender to figure out how to pour drinks for everyone who already finished their rounds. This of course after asking if we're finished or making the turn lol. F…
