In summary

Oakland Hills Golf Club is widely praised for its well-maintained greens, beautiful layout, and affordable pricing, offering a satisfying golfing experience in a picturesque setting. Many visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. However, some criticisms arise regarding the owner’s attitude and a policy restricting young children on the course, which detracts from the overall experience for some families.

First time golfing there. Always seen it from I-94 and was always impressed by how beautiful it was. They have the most beautiful greens and kept up course! I golf a different course every weekend and found Oakland Hills to be Outstanding! Great priced golfing and Super hospitality. Thanks for a Great day!

Played this course today for the first time in 20 years! I had forgotten how great the greens are!! My group travels all over southwest/central Michigan and I have not seen finer greens anywhere and that includes the "pricey" premier courses. The fairways are in wonderful condition, all the trees are nicely trimmed along with the grass around the trees. The bunkers have "real" sand and are very well maintained. The senior rate today was $23 riding and for that.....you get a really wonderful golfing experience. As the ad says, "try it,.....you'll like it. L Rice Portage, Michigan

Course was highly recommended and it didnt disappoint. The course was beautiful and fun to play. We have been to many courses in Florida, North Carolina and Michigan. The course made its way to our top two. Fair price and found staff to be friendly. We cant wait to go back

What a gem! I stopped in to play a round while traveling through the area and was so glad I played here. The course has a wonderful layout in the countryside with lots of contours and character. The greens are in great condition, fast and true. Staff was friendly and genuinely wanted me to have a good time on their course. I'm making it a point to play here as often as I can.

The young guy in the pro shop was very helpful and friendly. I was able to park my 18-wheeler at the truck stop and walk approximately 0.6 miles to the course. Not busy on a Monday. The course was well-maintained and the price was very affordable. Wonderful golf experience.

What a great place to play golf. The guy in the pro shop was very friendly. He came out to the parking lot to greet us. I read the reviews before going and the common feeling was the greens are great. After playing, I will agree completely! The greens are in awesome shape. They are fast and true. The rest of the course is nothing great. The fairways and rough are below average. There were dead spots everywhere. The rouge was short, it is April so I don't know if they let it grow later in the season. The course did have nice elevation change. I found it very fun. It's a very fun place to play.…

Nice course very well kept greens are in great shape. And 34 dollars for 18 on Sunday is great price. Could use update on carts, but the ones they have get job done.

Course Isn't in all that good of shape for the money. The Owner has such a terrible attitude and really don't know how to treat his customers. I seen him yelling and cussing out his customers while we was playing. I would never recommend this golf course to anyone when someone treats other people like that. STAY AWAY!!

I used to golf this course when I was a kid (13-17) I really liked it. I always enjoyed the time with my dad. Unfortunately I just found out that they have this stupid course rule. NO CHILDREN UNDER 10. I could understand not allowing unsupervised children. I would have been less irritated if they would have told me that rule when I made my tee time. VERY POOR MANAGEMENT. it's too bad that all the good parents have to be penalized for being a parent. It is a shame I do like the course

This is an excellent player friendly coarse. The greens hold the ball like none that I have ever played. You do not have to be afraid of shooting at the pin. I have passed by the course for years and stopped today because I had time. I am glad I stopped and highly recommend that if you have the chance you should too.

Beautiful parkland course with natural elevation changes. Greens rival anything you will find at any Northern Michigan destination course. I play here at least 8-10 times a year, best course value in the Lansing, Jackson, Battle Creek triangle. Give this track a go, and you will be back!!!

Amazing time. Unreal greens, good value. Plus I love the long holes. The owner was busy as heck but still took time to give us a tour of the 157year old clubhouse ( home). We're going back for sure!
