Every September we (24 Canadian golfers) travel to Indiana for a golf getaway and on the way home we play the Medalist. They are very accommodating with tee times and welcoming. Out of the five courses we play the consensus is the Medalist is the favourite!

The course is quite challenging. Also, I think the greens keeper was mad the day we were there because EVERY single pin was in the most difficult position on the green. 😂 Course maintenance was excellent. Two drawbacks for our group... -The GPS system is frustrating. The screens aren't very responsive and constantly have adds that you have to get rid of. -The staff was not rude, but rather indifferent to our presence. Overall, a decent place to play if you like a good challenge.

Pleasant surprise to find this on our way home from a trip. The nachos were fantastic, great flavor, generous toppings, and crispy tortilla chips. The Medalist Michigan salad was perfect with sweet apple slices, Michigan cherries, red onion, flaked Parmesan cheese, and candied pecans. The scenic view of the 18th hole from the restaurant was beautiful. I would highly recommend eating here.

Course is beautiful, very challenging front nine but opened up a little on the back. Pro shop had hot dogs and brats as well as other snacks and drinks. I did not try the restaurant but it looked nice. Full practice facility with range abd practice green.

I played while on vacation while in the area and absolutely loved the course. Excellent price, especially considering the carts had GPS, and upgraded leather seats. The conditions on the course were impeccable. Wish it was closer to home, I'd play there every week.

The course was in excellent shape. It was challenging. I love having GPS on the carts, but the constant pop-up ads got tiresome. The GPS screen quit working about 2/3 into our round. Overall a good experience.

This course was great... lots of creative holes with some shotmaking challenges but overall not too difficult. And considering how hot and weird the weather has been we all agreed the course was in really great condition. Greens ran true and tee boxes and fairways were nice. Couldn't believe how fair the pricing here was. Our group played a few courses on long weekend trip and this was by far the best bang for the buck. Would absolutely recommend!

Course was in wonderful condition not counting the being worked on bunkers. Their pricing is unclear and all over the map … I received an email stating $42 Fri-Sun last opening days and booked online showed $47 and when checking in was charged $50 !

Course is usually in great condition. Greens are responsive and roll true. The first three holes are nothing like the rest of the course. Holes 4-18 become a new course. Course can be very challenging off the tee! Great rates after 3PM.

The best condition course I’ve played in years. Highly recommend playing it. We travel from Indianapolis to play it, and plan to do it again next year. The staff we met were all extremely friendly and helpful. Can’t go wrong with the “Medalist”.

All of the employees we interacted with were great!! The course is absolutely beautiful!! While playing at The Medalist, you feel like you're playing at one of the incredible courses up north!! It's definitely one of the nicest courses in Michigan! The prices are also very reasonable!

Brought my wife to Firekeepers casino for her birthday. And then I go play golf somewhere in the area. This time I decided to try the Medalist. It is simply stunning course, with decent difficulty for a player like myself. Staff was awesome. The price was unbeatable compared to my local courses near Detroit. Definitely worth revisiting the next time I travel to this area.
