Lake Shore Country Club

After researching every club in and near Erie, PA, I landed on Lake Shore Country Club (LSCC) as having the most available so that I can enjoy socializing and physical activities year round. This was the exact right choice. Everyone is warm and welcoming. The facilities are being upgraded where needed, which shows they care about continuing to be an inviting place. [Note: For golfers, don't expect holes on the lake; you'll enjoy it anyway.] The food is excellent. It's a not-for-profit organization. They do a great job here.

This is a lovely venue in a beautiful setting. I am employed here too, so you could say that I am biased, but that also means that I understand the work that goes on behind the scenes to put an event together. Recently I was on the other side of the experience as a guest, and so I can speak from that perspective as well. The banquet and kitchen staff provide excellent service and delicious food. They are committed to providing quality service while being efficient, flexible when possible, and welcoming.

The atmosphere and clubhouse are always top notch. They have a beautifully run facility. The menu in the bar could be a little more innovative but it seems that they have had a couple different chefs over the past few years. It would be nice to have some more variety more often and a return of the "theme" nights. Overall, still a great place for an event, a night out or just a quick lunch or quick 9 holes.

I grew up at LSCC and moved away in my teens. I miss the pool, the snack bar, munchkins tennis, the club house and riding my bike alongside the Beautiful golf course back to my house. Also, the fourth of July parties with the fire trucks, bounce houses, and fireworks. This place is magical!

You can't beat the pool and the view. The staff is very friendly and work to give you the best experience possible. All of the members are approachable and friends and acquaintances are made easily. Guest fees are a steal if you know a member and if you don't, reach out to the club for a tour.

Pleasant and fine dining. Prices are fair. The view is Beautiful!

We held our daughter’s baby shower in the Green Room this past weekend. The staff was so accommodating and made sure we, and our guests, had an amazing day. The food was excellent and we were blown away by the beauty of the setting and the view. Thank you so much to all of the staff for making our magical day the best ever!

Had a fantastic time watching my brother and (soon to be) sister in law get engaged here. They absolutely love golfing here together and plan to get married here as well!! The staff here are absolutely wonderful!

We were here for a wedding, so this review is really only about their event hall and their catering given that we didn't see any other facilities or parts of the grounds The hall was beautiful and was the perfect place to host a wedding reception. The table settings, while a bit cramped at 8 to a table, were quite elegant but a bit over the top for my taste. There were so many plates and such that not everything seemed to fit on the table. Super kid friendly, delicious food, good view, fast service, and great for parties and other events.

This was a fabulous place to hold our reception! Lisa, the catering director, was absolutely amazing. After one meeting, we were able to plan almost the entire reception. She had everything we needed and didn't even know we wanted!! In addition to the delicious food, Lisa also took care of some of the decorating and setup. The catering staff and bartenders were professional, attentive, and friendly. We were so pleased with the attention to detail. Beautiful golf course and neighborhood. The greens fees are on the high side, but the course is challenging and well maintained. Membership has its advantages, but some members are overprotective of the public access surrounding the club.
