What People Say

In summary

Hoosier Links Golf Club is appreciated for its challenging layout, featuring wide fairways, mature trees, and water hazards, which many find enjoyable and well-suited for various skill levels. The staff is often praised for being friendly and accommodating, contributing to a positive atmosphere. However, some visitors have expressed concerns about the course's maintenance, particularly the condition of greens, bunkers, and tee boxes, suggesting that the course requires more investment and care to reach its full potential.

This course has a great layout. Challenging any level of play. They have been trying to update and cleanup the course over the past couple of years. Little by little they turning things around. This used to be my home course. Played weekly. If it wasn't for the fact that we moved, I would still be there weekly. The layout never gets boring. Lots of wide open fairways, water, and mature trees.

Course has so much potential but needs a major investment into the grounds. And probably a new greenskeeper. If I won the lottery, I would buy it and invest the $$$ it needs to reach its potential. We hosted a charity outing here for 12 years and finally moved it to a different course based on the feedback we received from the golfers. If they ever cleaned it up and invested in the facilities and course, we would go back. Love the layout!

for being out in the middle of the country this is definitely a five star course for the location. Ball hunters Paradise real fun course to play and the staff was friendly and the food was good definitely coming back!

Really a nice course with lots of mature trees, rolling wide fairways, and large greens. It called The Links, but it is pure parkland, with lots of trees, shrubs, creeks, and nature. I found the course in great shape. Plays fair, but I would suggest the average golfer play from the whites for a fun time, as I do. It plays well from the whites.

2025.11.15. Quiet setting and pretty good layout with mature trees, tall grasses, and water hazards. EVERY green is surrounded by multiple bunkers, where sands quality is decent. Greens can be better but they are quite fast.

It was my first time going here. I'm new to golf. I've recently wanted to play a bigger course and this one really delivered everything I was looking for. Wide open fairways bunkers and water, I saw alot of beautiful birds and the course was well taken care of in my opinion. I didn't notice a few of the hole numbers maybe the signs fell but once I realized how the course was laid out it was a breeze. The players and the employees were all very nice and welcoming and the brats were good too. They do have sauerkraut. Can't wait to go back.

I was on call this weekend, and my wife and I wanted to play golf. We had never played this course before and love to try new ones. Well for sure this is our new favorite. Called and explained to them I was looking to take the wife out for date day, but was on call so only wanted to play 9 first, then maybe play 9 more if I wasn't called in. Well we got through the front 9, and wanted to play the back 9, but it was a little crowded, so we wasn't sure if we was gonna be able to squeeze in. The guy hooked us right up with no hesitation. Everyone was friendly. It was a great day. The course was i…

Greens were really rough. No consistency and not taken care of. Fair ways and tee boxes in similar condition. Also $6 hotdogs. Not worth the $32 in my opinion

I want to love this place, I really do. It’s like a fat girl with a pretty face. Sure I’ll go play a few times a year but it isn’t going to be my home course. This place has so much potential in it and they just let weeds grow all over. Greens are very slow, lots of dead spots, and what looks like hail damage from pitch marks. Bunkers are a disaster. I’d rather play off parking lot it would be softer. I know bunkers are a lot of work to maintain but you think you could at least take the large stones out. They are doing the bare minimum to keep this course playable.

The price for the course is fair. It’s hard to take this course seriously with the way the tee boxes, greens, holes and bunkers are taken care of. They need so much love and shouldn’t take much effort by the staff. The main thing that needs addressed is the greens, fixing pitch marks and better cut holes that don’t look like they’ve been in the same spot for two months. There is a lot of potential in this course with the layout, but it requires a lot more love than it gets.

This golf course is in awful condition. Sweat bees, gnats, and mosquitoes are everywhere. Greens are in bad condition and our cart didn’t work until you pressed the gas pedal 3 times.
