In summary

Hillcrest Country Club is highly praised for its beautiful and well-maintained golf course, with pristine greens and excellent overall conditions. The staff is noted for their professionalism, and the on-site restaurant, Shift, receives mixed reviews; while many enjoy the food and service, some have experienced issues with order accuracy and staffing. Overall, the club is considered a hidden gem and a great place for both golfing and dining.

This is an absolutely BEAUTIFUL golf course that is well maintained! 😍 We had a ton of fun out here playing 18 holes and enjoying the awesome weather. They have a great restaurant called Shift in the country club as well. I absolutely recommend coming to play a round here and grab some lunch! 😊

November 6th, 2025. The course conditions were immaculate. I would put these greens up there with the likes of Moraine/NCR/Kenwood. Fast, smooth and undulated. Essentially no ball marks on the greens. Fairways were pure and the tee boxes were in great shape. A couple tight holes on the back 9 but overall this place is a hidden gem. They paint their cups white. The superintendent and his staff know exactly what they’re doing. 100% recommend!

Went to eat at Shift. Food was good. The menu was heavy on burgers. I had the roast beef burger. It was cooked great. My wife had the Shift burger, also good. One person had shrimp taco, and said they were on the spicy side. The wings were a good size and a good amount. Service was excellent and fast.

Ate at the Shift restaurant two separate times. Both times, our orders weren't what they were supposed to be. Just to be clear, this review was for the restaurant and NOT the country club.
