My first golf lesson was here while attending Camp Cheerio 46+ years ago. Still a beautiful course!

Had the pleasure of playing this beauty as part of a CGA event on 24Jun. The course was in exceptional condition. The greens were perfect, the fairways immaculate and the rough was... rough! The staff was great! The food was good. Looking forward to the next opportunity to play this gem. If you get the chance to play here, take it!

I feel like I’m giving up top secret information here, but I can’t keep the world from this place any longer. One of the best courses I’ve ever played. From design to condition, it’s top notch. The food is always on point, and the newly renovated clubhouse is beautiful. The pool, pickleball courts and gym are all fantastic as well. Go here.

Views are breathe taking! Clean air and very kid friendly. A great relaxing place to go and get away!

Can you fish on the ponds/lakes if you rent a house like on airbnb and come fishing like before 8 am or after 5 pm? Just asking

We had my daughter in laws baby shower here and it was perfect.

The food was good. The service was lukewarm. We had reservations as guests of some members so you would think the reception would have been warmer. They gave us a really bad seat directly under the air con vents so we froze. The food was good at least. I wish the wine selection were better. Will double think whether to come back here on our next trip.

This place is amazing!!! The staff is very professional and the views are breath taking!! If you're ever thinking about having an event here this is the place!! The table linen they use is very crisp and clean and table service is just immaculate, food is ten stars!!! Can't wait to go back!!

This is a very nice golf and country club located in Roaring Gap in the high mountains of Noth Carolina (3000 feet above sea level). Because of the elevation, the temperatures are 7 - 10 degrees cooler and the humidity is 20% less than in the summer than in nearby Charlotte, Greensboro and Raleigh. The cool summer temperatures also make it possible to keep the bent grass fairways and greens of the George Cobb designed golf course in tip top shape. The dining facilities are also first rate.
