Hickory Grove Golf Course

The course is very well kept and friendly staff. Had a wonderful time playing the course!

I was there this weekend for the 4-H golf outing and the course was beautiful. The trees along the sides were sparse enough to not impede over much, but close enough to provide a nice challenge. The greens were all very well maintained, and the staff was very attentive.

One of the course managers pulled up and ridiculed me for parking too close to the green. I apologized 3 times. I was about 10 ft from the green second fringe. He just kept on saying I should know better and was just rude. He was following us and was complaining we were moving too slow. There were 3 of is and one of him. He must be related to the owner and brought off this napoleon complex. Then an older manager comes pulling up complaining about how I pulled up next to the green. That green on one side was a washed out Grand Canyon and the course was horrible. No hole numbers. No yardage sign…

Beautiful course, no complaints. I would love to see them acquire the land from the run down trailer park and expand the course. All in all this course is excellent the balls run slightly slow if it’s a wet week but drainage is great and it dries out pretty quick. 5 out 5!!

Nice course, staff was very rude. Tried to play back nine first and guy yelled at us(we’re grown men. No need to yell.) Also an old man that worked there tried lecturing us about golf courtesies that had nothing to do with what we were doing. Just felt discriminated against for being young.Someone stole a speaker out of my buddies cart and staff did nothing to help. Would not recommend course.

I like the layout of the course. It has some challenging holes. I enjoyed the simulator. We golfed all winter. Over all I give them 5 stars.

Had stuff stolen off the cart right in front of the clubhouse. Wanted to start on the back 9 so we weren't right on top of the people in front of us. Was told that we would be cutting everyone else and had to wait for the people in front of us. Fine. On the 17th hole had an employee come up and tell us we should've let the pair behind us go first even though we were only a trio. Okay, would've done that if they were behind us before we reached 17, but that was the first time we even saw them. Also, we were waiting on a group that was in front of us anyway, so letting them go ahead of us wouldn…

Nice course. Greens are in great shape, but fast when they dry out. Lots of trees, so, of course stay in the fairway! The driving range is nice and long.

For the price, this course is worth it. The layout is diverse and the greens are always in great shape. The guys in the shop are great characters

Very peaceful and relaxing round of golf with my son's. The greens are in good shape. Totally enjoyed the course.

The course has been making improvements over the past year or two. Nice course with tricky greens worth the money!
