What People Say

In summary

Maple Ridge Golf Course is appreciated for its scenic layout, particularly the contrasting front and back nines, and the friendly, accommodating staff. Many visitors find the course enjoyable and well-maintained, with smooth greens and a pleasant atmosphere. However, some have experienced issues with double bookings and management of tee times, as well as occasional maintenance concerns, such as poorly defined fairways and bunker conditions.

I teed off first on a weekday and encountered a few surprises on the course. On the opening par 5, 1st hole that has a wide fairway there was a dead skunk on the left edge of the fairway. I didn’t think too much of it until I got a few holes further and found a dead possum that looked like another animal had gotten it. This was also in the fairway. Definitely not what you expect to find and not sure what was going after these animals and why they were in the middle of play. The course itself is a tale of 2 nines. The front nine is 600 yards longer than the back 9 from the white tees and only…

Really nice course, staff was kind and friendly, I went on a Wednesday mid afternoon and the course was wide open didn’t have to wait for anyone and no one behind either. Will definitely go again!!!

Great improvements to the course, friendly staff, nice value. The back nine is completely different with a significant amount of trees removed. Greatly appreciate the progress made.

Had a tee time booked for 8:00 AM on a Saturday...Nobody was there to open the course. There was a parking lot full of groups waiting. Not only was there nobody there to open the course, but after talking to other groups, turns out they double booked all of us as well, because some booked online and some called to book...After waiting a while, we realized even if and when someone did show up, we'd be waiting at least another hour to get out...So we never got to play and drove 40 minutes for nothing on a Saturday morning when we could've been playing somewhere else. Stuff happens sometimes, un…

Don't book through golf now they didn't honor my tee time. Blamed golf now and really didn't care. Got a babysitter, drove an hour and so they nearly ruined a beautiful Saturday. Luckily I drink. My buddy Tom almost pooped on their parking lot on the way out, but we respect the game too much.

It's a little rough around the edges but for the price i would say it's worth it. Just don't expect Augusta national and enjoy a quick round. Staff was wonderful and very friendly.

This was my first time playing Maple Ridge. In my opinion, it's an Epic course! Friendly comfortable front nine... Back nine even better! undulating course throughout! Beautiful course on every hole! I've played many many courses and this course was epic! Beautiful, challenging at times, forgiving at times, just a great course. Great staff! Quaint unassuming club house with friendly staff... Just a great great place... Price is perfect. Just a great experience all around.

Double booked our tee time made it sound like it was our fault. If you like being treated like trash for patronizing a business, this is the place for you.

An average course, but there are some rough edges I would say. They have a decent clubhouse and the greens were in good shape today. The rough edges to me would be they need to define the fairways more, do something with some of the traps that have little sand in , and some of the cart paths definitely need to be repaired. Shot one of my best rounds this summer, but they also need to be part of the GHIN system so I don’t have to manually enter scores in GHIN handicap. Beautiful layout and definitely scenic, but if they could work on a few things, it definitely would be more worth the drive from…

My dad and I golfed Make Ridge 40 years ago and I took him back today for a rematch. Neither of us play golf much and we're not great at it but this was a fun course for just having fun. We only played the front 9. Some of the greens need a little work and some of the bunkers were straight up mud cuz it rained last night but overall it is a decent course for a fun time.

First time here and was impressed. Had a lot of rain recently and was pleasantly surprised that the course wasn’t flooded. There were some puddles but what do you think will happen after torrential downpours? Price was fair and staff was friendly. Will definitely come back for more rounds.
