In summary

Andover Golf Course is appreciated for its friendly atmosphere, excellent food, and reasonable pricing, making it a popular spot for both golfing and dining. The course is particularly favored by beginners and families, with its relaxed environment and well-maintained greens. However, some visitors have noted issues with course maintenance and management, including inconsistent fairway conditions and occasional slow pace of play.

This is fun course, especially for the novice golfer. The fairways are not country club, but the greens are good. But, the best part about this 9 hole course, is the food. Yummy. Even if you don't golf, come and eat?

My wife and I were driving to Cherry Valley up route 7 when we saw a sign that said Huge Yummy Burgers! We stopped- it was the restaurant to the Andover Public Golf Course. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was huge- over a 1/2 lb with fresh mushrooms and melted Swiss! Excellent Fries and extremely cold beer! We ate on the very nice outdoor patio overlooking the 9 hole public golf course... If you want Fantastic Burgers and very cold beer... you must go there!

Nice 9 hole course. Challenging with the trees. Friendly staff. Ok price to play. Still need to come try the food. Outdoor seating!

Very impressed with this course. Beautiful greens and fairways. Has its share of easy and tough holes. When done golfing get a bite to eat. The food is amazing. The owners are super nice people too

Terrible. Only course I’ve ever seen where the fairway is both dry and bald, then flooded and overgrown 30 feet down the fairway. Greens have random spurs of weeds and crabgrass growing out of them. All holes are dead straight and short and the fairway is the same as the super-rough of other places. Would not recommend to anyone. The only thing that makes the place respectable is Marta. Great food.

If I could give this place zero stars I absolutely would. We were harassed multiple times by the owner. First we were told we were “going too slow” but we were respectfully waiting for the group of 6 that was in front of us to be on the green before we started hitting. Then when he made another round we were yelled at for parking the carts just off the path though this is what the “pro” group in front of us did so we thought this was permitted. The owner proceeded to drive across the fairway so we couldn’t start the hole. He then stood on the deck staring at us while we finished the course. On…
