Herons Glen Golf & Country Club is highly praised for its well-maintained course, excellent practice facilities, and friendly, attentive staff. The layout offers a fun and challenging experience suitable for golfers of all levels, with memorable holes and a variety of tee options. The clubhouse amenities, including a welcoming restaurant, enhance the overall experience, though one reviewer noted a negative interaction with a staff member at the bag drop.

Had an amazing time! This course has the nicest fairways and greens compared to almost all courses I've played in the swfl area. The range and putting and chipping greens are great as well. All of the staff were very pleasant. Challenging while still beautiful and fun! Highly recommended

A great place to call my second home. THE Clubhouse is always clean and tidy. It is currently decorated with a Christmas tree. You can tell the residents care and love their community.

Herons Glen in North Fort Myers is a gated community with 1,300 homes. Herons Glen offers its residents a ton of amenities to help keep them in peak physical condition. The original golf course was designed by renowned golf course architect Ron Garl and opened in 1991. Gordon Lewis did a redesign of the course in 2006 and in 2021, the Herons Glen rehired Garl to do a 6-million-dollar major renovation. One of Ron Garl’s specialties is practice facilities, and the new Herons Glen Golf & Country Club has some incredible practice facilities, including a full-length aqua range with 27 Turf-Hound h…

Nice community and golf course. Everything is well maintained with all the amenities you expect from a place like this. Good in the restaurant is better than you expect. All the staff I've interacted with have been friendly. Golf course is a fun and good layout. They have 5 sets of tees to fit everybody's game. Course was well taken care of.

Great place. Super course that's well maintained and challenging. Staff in the pro shop and restaurant are top notch. Rangers come around with eucalyptus scented iced towels while you're playing. Nice touch. Stop in the Nest restaurant for food or drink when you're done. Very welcoming environment with an excellent menu for reasonable prices. This place is a hidden gem, and I heard it was just voted the number two public course in all of Florida. I believe it. Will be back.

The course was in VG condition for the season. The staff was helpful & top-notch. Plentiful water & ice around the course, with staff coming around with iced towels. One of the best golf experiences in the area.

A great development. The restaurant and lounge are open to the public. Great burgers for $11. The Ahi Tuna & white fish franchise are very good

This is a great course. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. Their practice area is very good as well. They have an aqua range and separate putting and short game areas. From tee to green, the course was in great shape as well. When we played, 7/7/24, it was extremely hot. The course was handing out towels to keep on melting ice, great to keep around one's neck. The carts have small coolers attached, and there are places to get ice and water for drinking around the course. Anyway, Herons Glen is a great place to spend four to five hours playing.

This course is in fantastic shape in spite ofthe dry conditions we're experiencing in SWFL! The greens are immaculate. Fairways are very well groomed and maintained. The staff is over the top, when it comes to service. Brian was at the car getting my clubs as soon as I shut the car off. Jimmy, in the clubhouse, very friendly, cordial and helpful with everything. They have people driving throughout the course asking if you would like a cold towel to wipe your face!! NEVER have seen that done at any course...ever!! This is a must play golf course! I know for certain, I will play here again! We'l…

Beautiful upkeep and a nice place! Amenities are vast. Course is nicely kept. Price is fair for what you get. We also had a chance to eat here, and I have to say, the food was exceptional. Whenever I'm back in the area, I'll definitely be returning here. ✌🏼

The staff member with tattoos at the bag drop was notably rude. As the first point of contact before a round of golf, a welcoming attitude is important—and unfortunately, that was not the case. It’s disappointing to see someone so clearly unhappy representing the course. Based on this experience, I do not plan to return.
