The Club at Magnolia Landing is frequently praised for its challenging and interesting course layout, well-maintained fairways, and friendly, attentive staff. Many visitors appreciate the scenic setting with abundant wildlife and water features, as well as the quality of food and service at the clubhouse. While the course generally receives high marks for its condition, some reviews mention issues with certain greens and dry spots due to weather conditions, as well as occasional concerns about slow pace of play and ranger interactions.

Played here for the first time, challenging layout, especially the first few holes. The conditions of the fairways were very good, but there are patches in some greens, which also are sloppy, narrow and long. There are a lot of water around most holes which are pretty interesting in terms of playing strategy. The staff were very nice and friendly. Definitely will go back again next time in the Fort Meyer Cape Coral area.

Great day! Had a delicious breakfast of eggs Benedict over fried chicken and a strong cup of coffee. A local found out I was alone and joined me and was a great help as he knew everything about the course and even hooked me up with the local seafood place with a great happy hour. The course was in great shape, worst drought in 25 years for Lee county, and the greens were in great shape, other courses didn’t water the greens when the February frost hit and it shows. Overall great experience, I would highly recommend Magnolia Landing for discerning golfers and foodies alike. Looking forward to m…

Recently upgraded course was beautiful and played very well. Reasonable prices too. The food and service at the clubhouse and restaurant is outstanding. The chef is very creative and thoughtful about his dishes. We will definitely return any time we’re in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral area.

Great layout, great conditions, and even better people. The course was fun and challenging with beautiful views and plenty of wildlife. The greens rolled beautifully, and the staff made us feel welcome from start to finish. Looking forward to our next round!

Magnolia Landing continues to be a fantastic place to play. While the recent frost—the first we’ve seen like this in a long time—has temporarily turned some of the turf brown, the course still plays beautifully. The greens roll true and consistent, which is what really matters during a round. What truly sets this course apart is the setting. Being surrounded by nature, wildlife, and peaceful scenery makes every round enjoyable and relaxing. You can tell the staff takes pride in the course and works hard to keep conditions strong despite challenging weather. Great value, great layout, and a gre…

Course is in great shape considering the drought we are experiencing. Greens and tee boxes are in excellent condition, even 14 which is still coming back from utter devastation looks pretty good. Clubhouse has great food and excellent service; worth playing and staying for a bite and some nice cold beverages!

This course was fantastic. The course was in excellent condition even with the weather happening every day. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in amazing shape. The layout of the course was quite difficult but entertaining. I highly recommend this course for an amazing bang for your buck.

I play this course usually once a week. The first three holes can be challenging unless you have great ball placement. Tee boxes on most holes are in good shape. You can tell that they are trying with this very dry weather. Fairways are for the most part in great shape. Again with the very dry weather they have a few spots that will need some help. Greens are in great shape except for 14 but they have been working on it for awhile now to get it back to a good playable condition. Thanks for finally putting some "good" sand in the greenside bunkers, hopefully you get to the fairway bunkers in th…

A very solid golf course with lots of water and wildlife. Golfers can make it as challenging as they'd like depending on their tee box selection. Our group has played the course for many years, and will continue to keep it in our rotation as it's the best value in the area. Mike and Krystal do a great job of taking care of their guests at the restaurant/bar as well. We are looking forward to our next round.

Nice course. A lot of water and fast greens. Looks rough in a few areas probably due to drought. Bag team are great and friendly and so is the grill staff. The ranger rode our 3 4 somes like we were the only people on the course and we played in a little over 4 hours and waited on the last two holes. He actually followed one of our groups for two holes. He either needs to find another job or learn when someone pays $175 part of the enjoyment is not being told every other hold how many minutes it took to play the hole. Ridiculous. Other than that it was a great day.

Magnolia Landing has been making some significant upgrades to both the golf course and the course infrastructure. Overall the greens have been improved dramatically in the last 6-8 months though two of them still need some significant work which is being done. Some new contouring needs to be done with the rough areas of the course which are both tough and a bit too confining. The course is challenging, with water on many holes, and is definitely headed in the right direction. For fall golf it is a Southwest Florida bargain.
