My mother and father-in-law live here. The roads are rutted, but it's a nice campgeound. They have a swimming "lake" in the summertime that's fun!

This is a great place, lots of trees and plenty of space between spaces. The staff here are really nice and helpful. If you are looking for a campground within reasonable distance of Indy, this is definitely the place. Even if you are from out of town and traveling through the area the facilities here are nice, there's even laundry and it's open year round. Tl;Dr this is a nice campground and you should stay here.

I'm in shock with the 4 star rating??? This place is extremely run down. Very rude and condescending people who run it. Obvious favoritism to certain long term campers over others. Police seem to be there often. Camp sites are a joke! Best pray it don't rain or you'll be in a huge puddle. I wouldn't pay $1 to stay here again.

Only used them for the lake swimming. It's clean and no fish in the swimming side. Been there 4 times this summer.

Very loud next to the interstate. To many long term campers. Looks like a run down trailer park. Police raided two campers while staying there. The pavilion was nice for family events.

I would give zero stars if i could. These people play favoritism and target people if they arent up to their standards harass them make false reports to local law enforcement and lie to find ways to kick you out. Even with proof unless u meet their standards you will be forced out sooner or later it happened to someone close i will never go there. They think they are better than everyone. They like to violate peoples rights to get what they want.

Stayed here for ~5 months. I had to be within 30 minutes of downtown for hospital call. With the construction going on, you would be cutting it close doing the speed limit. I just found something closer, only reason for leaving. It's nothing special, by any means but everyone is super nice and everything works.

It nice my dog loves it because she can be with family. I like the fishing and the golf carts. The place is a fixer upper but everyone is nice. If your looking 4 a old style campground then u should not come here. Every camping season we come we love 2 see the golf carts parade they have 1 a week throwing candy out to kids.

Our stay was just fine. We were just passing through and needed a place to park there camper for the night. It met our needs just fine. It seems a lot of long term campers are there. Bathroom was clean and the grounds were kept. Not a favorite in our travels but nothing to really complain about.

The staff were nice but our campsite was a swamp! The indoor pool advertised is non-existent and most sites are folks who live there and are pretty junked up. This place served our purpose for a cheap place to camp while in town for the Indy 500 but probably won't go back.

I bet this place was nice in its hay day. Now not so much. Lacking in basic upkeep and maintenence. Pool shutdown, old tennis courts is now storage of junk. Basketball hoops aren't level. Beach is deteriorating and swimming area is basically a gross pond. Mini golf looked okay but shop was closed. Bathrooms were outdated and dirty. Campsite was a mud pit, water was not clean and clear, litter was basically everywhere. I filled a whole bag in a 5 min walk to my site. Needless to say its over priced $46/night and could use owners that actually care.
