I had an awful first-time experience here, and I feel it’s important for others to know. I came as a beginner because this course advertises itself as a great place to learn. Shortly after we started playing, a man (photo attached) came over yelling at us that “this is not a place for beginners” and that we were taking too long. We politely apologized and explained we were just starting out, asking for a little patience. Instead of speaking to us respectfully, he continued screaming, telling us to “get off the course” immediately. We were never rude or disrespectful to him, and there was no r…

Just started golfing as a senior for the first time going to the range and hitting and taking a few lessons. Today I played this course with a friend for the first time. Actually, first time on any course. The starter and pro shop attendant were very helpful. The online reservation, at site check in, and start were stress free and relaxing. Both employees were helpful and informative and made us feel welcome. The course is laid out well and not that challenging for an experienced golfer (my friend). For me, it was challenging but not too bad. I was told this was a great place for beginners to…

This is a nice golf course to start playing golf. The fairways are moderately wide enough for beginners & amateurs. No water hazards & a few sand traps here & there. Hate the fence by hole #1 tee box. Staff is friendly & helpful & the course is maintained decently.

Responding to Erika Peraza First read up on GOLF Etiquette, Course rules, PACE OF PLAY. Then beginners, especially if one has never use a golf club or hit a golf ball ever in thier life, Go to the driving range for atleast one or two years and learn how to hit the golf ball or take lessons. Then you can begin to play on a golf course for beginners. It is the Starter's right to make the decision to take anyone off the course, if they feel someone is not abiding by the course rules especially if they feel you are to slow and holding up the golfers behind you. (PACE OF PLAY). Beginners should al…

Perfect local Municipal Course for beginners, youngsters, inexperienced players, or anyone looking to get out there. Very forgiving layout and shorter holes to work on your game. Don’t expect country club conditions as the greens/bunkers/tee boxes are not kept very well. If you’re looking to play Augusta National, this is not the 9 for you. Grab some buddies, a couple of beers, and play a low key 9 holes in 90-120 mins. Friendly staff.

I am a beginner and play at Gull Haven with a ladies golf league. The starter, Levy, has always been very helpful, courteous and professional to all of the members of my group. Gull Haven is a very enjoyable course to play as a beginner and I would highly recommend it.

Not a bad course overall. Well maintained fairways & greens. Maybe the most well guarded greens I've ever played. Very challenging, BUT, check-in is a mobile home, no driving range, putting green is a long way away from the start, and they double charge you for the cart. $14 per seat. I might go back to play 9 holes, but never 18 again.

Hello Friends!!! Excellent course for beginners and great for just getting in some swings for high handicaps too. Fairways and greens are in good shape. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Round prices are very reasonable.

Great place for beginners and kids. The course is short and forgiving. Some of the bunkers are in rough shape. Greens and fairways are well maintained. If you are looking for a quick nine with a beginner or just to get out it's for you.

Fun little 9 hole course for the weekend hacker (like me, lol) at a reasonable price, even for non-residents. Wide open, shorter holes, forgiving rough. Surprisingly small greens. If you hear FORE here, definitely duck.

Just because there are no 0 starts I'll give one . These people broke the windshield on my car when I was passing Eastview dr and no responded, so I called 911 and they too 3 hours and they never arrived. I don't understand how these types of situations exist and they act like nothing is happening. Now I have to pay out my own pocket, But if we were white oh yes they would solve the problem.
