In summary

Grey Hawk Golf Club is frequently praised for its beautiful, well-maintained course with a challenging layout and true-rolling greens, offering a pleasant experience for golfers of all skill levels. The staff is often described as friendly and helpful, and the clubhouse provides a nice atmosphere with good food options. One of the best public courses I’ve played this year. Grey Hawk is a links-style course that’s mostly wide open, with rolling hills and firm, true-rolling greens. Water hazards come into play on roughly 85% of the holes, so play it smart and you’ll be fine. The signature hole is a par-3 island green (hole 11), and it’s a stunner. There are plenty of bunkers…I landed in two. They were a little firm, one was muddy, but nothing unplayable. Walking isn’t allowed, so carts are required. No GPS in the carts, which means no annoying beeps when you get near OB, but drive smart. There’s a driving range…

Absolutely beautiful course, very well maintained. 100% worth the money!! My wife and I stopped here after a previous day of cedar pointe and it was the most relaxing experience. Staff was extremely kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend to my friends and family !!!

Worth the drive from Cleveland.l, great course. Multiple tee boxes for all skill levels. Great twilight deal and super laid back for entry level golfers. Get out there!

Amazing course. PGA should play here. Food was great at reasonable price. If you shank the ball, you may want to choose another course. houses are starting line the Fairways. Most on left.

Great LINKS course. Love the layout. Pro shop and starter were great. Course in wonderful shape. Miss the out doors snack bar. Any chance of GPS on carts in the future? Carts rode smoothly.

Place is too entitled. Love the course they have consistently canceled my tee times due to it being 42 degrees instead of 45. Allowed you to book times on golf now when they are actually closed. Pushed our tee time back 45 min once bc they double booked. Great course, ran like a joke.

Course itself is OK, greens aren’t bad. The issue was the personnel there itself. They’ve been known to play the old bait and switch game with leagues for more lucrative golf outings. And today, the guy running the front desk had the personality of a wet rag. Not very smart either. I highly suggest you look somewhere else out there, because it’s been known for a long time the staff isn’t very friendly, and they care only about the money. The customer is secondary. They totally sold out.

Bring your "A" game for this course. I unfortunately did not and used every club in the bag to make it around this beautiful and challenging course. Greens rolled true and fast. Don, our starter, was a great conversation. So, if you are looking for a new golf course to try and like to test your game, give Grey Hawk a try. I drove 4 hours to play it, and would make the drive again tomorrow if I didn't have to work. Oh, bring a couple extra balls, especially for holes 7, 11 and 14. Keep up the good work, Grey Hawk!
