Talked to two very nice older gentlemen on Monday morning. We asked about getting a tee time for the next day. They were super nice and even pointed us in direction of twi-light golf. They said pay one fee and play as many holes as you can before courses closes. GREAT! We showed up the next day, played nine holes in pretty slow play. We are avid golfers, not great. Not horrible. Went to the restroom between 9 and 10 and started playing again and thought we'd get more holes in if we went back to 1. Younger worker came after us and said thats our last hole! After we came in my husband talked t…

Forest Lake Golf Club in Central Florida is a true gem! The course boasts fantastic condition with rolling fairways, a grass driving range, and a practice area featuring two chipping greens. They also have a practice bunker and a practice green available. The course layout is pure golf—no homes in sight, just a scenic and meticulously maintained course that caters to golfers of all skill levels. After a satisfying round, Rusty Niblick Pub & Grill is the ideal spot to unwind and savor delicious, reasonably priced food. The welcoming atmosphere and top-notch service make it a perfect choice for…

Played Forest Lake GC on Sunday morning 4/12/26. Absolutely brilliant experience all around. Michael, the Pro Shop Manager and his team demonstrated consummate professionalism in arranging multiple tee times for our Sunday golf group. The course was in really good shape especially the greens. A great day all round and we will be back to play again shortly!! Great work to the team at Forest Lake. Six stars, not 5! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🤩

I play the course regularly and know that ownership and management has changed recently. I think there needs to be some focus on filling areas of the fairways with dirt and grass. One is the highlights of the course is the happy and energetic services provide by the cart person Charity. She always has a smile and very helpful. I am not sure what is happening with staffing but I have notice over the last few weeks that I have not seen her as often. She seems to know most of the regular players by name.

Green fees were reasonable but the club rental was a joke. We needed four sets and they couldn't even find them. This delayed us with our tee time. Even with all that we caught the group in front of us. At the turn we stopped and got some food and drinks. We make the turn and the group behind us obviously didn't stop. I even asked them to go ahead and play thru. This was my groups first time out and we didn't want to slow anyone down. They had an attitude and declined the offer but on the next hole the club house attendant drives out to say he's getting complaints about us. I wouldn't play thi…

Always loved this course but just had a bad experience. I called and moved my tee time from 2:00pm to 1:28pm. The pro shop told me multiple times that the new tee time costs the same as the original without me even asking. I check in and am told that the rate is $20 more because it’s before 1:30pm. FINE. But why tell me a different price multiple times on the phone. Not happy but whatever. Then the first tee box is backed up so we tee off 10 minute late anyways, it’s 1:38. Very annoyed about the misinformation, the pro shop not giving a crap, and then ultimately teeing off after they said th…

The gents at the pro shop were great, and were able to accommodate getting on the tee sheet with short notice. The course offers a great grass tee driving range for warm up (extra charge), and an expansive chipping and practice green. The course itself, was in excellent condition and the back nine was a good challenge which included a newly re-designed hole 16 I believe. I see pace of play being a concern for other reviews, but we finished 18 in a reasonable 4 hr and 15 minute. Few times we waited on the front nine, other than that no problem.

Best Course in the area!!!!!! Staff is always friendly and welcoming!!!!! New General Manager, Michael is a true CLASS ACT!!!! Gena who runs the Bar, makes every golf outing feel like you are home. I would play there everyday if I could.... Robert, Jared and Oscar are always on point to make sure you have a cart and you are on time for your tee-time. Ted, Kenney and Kyle always find ways to get you on the course even if they are all booked up. They take care of their regulars and are always helping newcomers. The course is always in good shape even after a HUGE Saturday / Sunday rush.... THESE…

I’ve played this course three times now and genuinely love everything about it — the driving range, the layout, and the friendly staff. However, my last three visits have been very disappointing due to the pace of play. The course seems consistently overbooked, and each round ends up taking nearly six hours to complete. Every hole moves painfully slow, and some groups show no consideration for others — taking multiple drops and refusing to let faster players play through, even when no one is ahead of them. I truly want to give this course a great rating because it has so much potential, but t…

I play here off and on throughout the year depending on my travel schedule and I have to say the course conditions have drastically improved since I played here last spring. Pace of play can be slow at times but the staff is always great and I'm excited to see the course trending in the right direction. Keep it up!

Throughly enjoyable public course to play. The tee boxes are well looked after, the fairways are in great shape, the greens run true and are quick. The staff are very pleasant.

I’ve been a member here for many years. Great layout. Many of the staff have become friends and are great people. But it seems owners/management are getting greedy as the price for Greens fees has risen! Whoever is making these decisions must realize it’s going to come with a cost! I talked to many of the fellow members and they also feel the price has gone up beyond reasonable. This is going to make many of us look to other places to play until the prices come back to what the course is valued at. This is not a $70 and $80 course. Hopefully they come to their senses. Even the snowbirds are go…
