In summary

MetroWest Country Club receives positive feedback for its friendly and attentive staff, well-maintained greens, and enjoyable course layout, making it a solid choice for golf enthusiasts. The club also offers a pleasant dining experience and hosts events effectively. However, some visitors report issues with tee boxes, fairways, and inconsistent course conditions, as well as concerns about fees and customer service in the pro shop.

Played this morning and the course has improved nicely recently. Greens are super nice, fairways are mostly clean and playable. There are a few areas here and there off the greens in the rough where it’s well, a little rough/bare spots. The tee boxes are the last bit of space in the course that need the most work, but just move the ball to a better spot and hit. Enjoyable round and got done in 3 hours…hardly anyone out there, probably because it’s the first Sunday of the NFL season. Definitely coming back for another round soon.

Great cold round of golf I had here last week with one of my best friends, we were first out, played like shit but had an amazing time. Staff was super friendly price was fine a bit punchy but fine. Carts were new and clean and the sun was shining what more do ya need?

Played this course on January 9th 2024. From the start, the pro shop and dining area is above average with nice staff. As for the practice facilities, I would say it is average at best. However, the grounds keepers were out doing work to make improvements which was a good sign. The range was closed at the time and the chipping green wasn't much of a green at all. Putting green is nice though. As for the course itself, it is pretty wide open and allows you to swing the driver at will but on some holes it comes with consequences. For the time of the year, the fairways, bunkers, and greens were p…

Recently visited MetroWest Golf Club and was pleased with the experience. The golf course is well-kept, offering a fair challenge. We also enjoyed a meal at the onsite restaurant where the food was tasty and the service friendly. It's a solid choice for golf enthusiasts and those looking for a pleasant dining experience in Orlando. Worth checking out for a leisurely day or a casual outing.

DO NOT PLAY GOLF HERE. We came into the pro shop with low- mid expectations. We booked a morning tee time on a weekday, and the course was not busy at all. I was going to ride along while my partner played. I have done this dozens of times and rarely need to pay a fee, and when I do it’s less than $20. When checking in at the pro shop, the employee was rude as we asked some lighthearted questions about the course and what to expect. He responded short and bluntly as if our service was a bother to him. My partner paid for the tee time for himself. When we arrived at the first hole, the starte…

Come and spend a day with your friends, family or just a walk along the 9! This course is well maintained, so are the carts. The greens and the sand dunes are clean! The community is safe and of course, what's a nice golf ⛳ course without a shop where you can find the one thing you forgot to bring and or a new gift for a special someone or even yourself! I highly recommend this course!

Super friendly staff from the front counter of the Pro Shop, to the bag drop off attendant, to Lilly and the Chef at the bar. All the staff deserve to have a shout out. This courses in a lot better shape than it was 2 years ago when I played it can't beat the rates right now for this course. Worth every penny! Greens are in great shape, top 5 Greens in Orlando right now with the way they are running in my opinion. A few Tee boxes can use some help though but the course is getting there. This well be a top course in Orlando soon. Looking forward to holding my future tournament there.

It should almost be illegal for this place to call itself a golf course. To start the tee boxes are like a minefield with no markers other than a single painted pole. On some you can’t even find a level place to stand. The fairways are slightly better. The greens, particularly on the back 9, were really bad. They had two different kinds of grass, one of which was crabgrass. It was like playing Plinko on puts. If they put half the mo ey into the course as they do the clubhouse it wouldn’t be bad. There were down trees that look like they had been there for years and busted up cart paths that we…

My son loves to golf, so we decided to do his 4th birthday at the MetroWest Golf Club. It was the perfect venue for the golf theme! Because his birthday is in July, I wanted to find an indoor space that could accommodate a bounce house and a ball pit. (It’s way too hot outside). This large space fit both comfortably, along with lots of room for the kids to run around and the parents to mingle. We enjoyed the catering a lot. The classic deli bar was presented so nicely in the side room. The kids enjoyed their kids meal (chicken nuggets & fries). We did a dessert table and set up all the drinks…

This course is a diamond in the rough. You can see the improvements of the course. Tee boxes are good. Fairways and green and well maintained. Rough is maintained but needs to be seeded and watered. Greens are looking good and they are improving them. I'd play it again and you should add it to your Orlando area play list.

Played MetroWest for the first time in years. The course is in decent shape and all of the greens were in good shape and rolled fast. Tee boxes - or markers, more specifically, are a bit suspect. The course is really long and I made the mistake of walking the course, which I don’t recommend because there’s no shade anywhere. The clubhouse is a shell of its former self and seems a bit of a skeleton of what was once a swankier place. Definitely a good course to play and have a good time.
